#3003020 David Deihl

Did anyone catch David Deihl yesterday.  I about fell out laughing at this goon.

First of all I felt he wasn't much of a Panther fan and secondly he was talking about Olsen and he said.

Well he's built like a Tight End and I was laughing so hard I didn't hear the rest of what he had to say.

David got a hint for you.  He is a Tight End.

You should probably listen to poo you're criticizing, it might make you appear like less of a joke. This post though, is probably a waste of time since you'll probably read the first three words and reply off of that.

I would think the wall hit them

Actually I think they are the wall, and they hit the rookies.

#2613344 Piece of poo Ref, Carl Cheffers, "Explains" Why He Didn't Call Tw...

Here are the most blatant calls that went against us

1. 12 men on the field. We got hosed on that one. That should have taken away the TD. But they still woulda kicked a field goal. It was a clear day and chances are they would have made it. Why are we acting like this transformed the game? We mailed in the second half remember? Anyone remember that? I don't expect sch1t from Shula, but even our #2 defense was owned in the 3rd quarter. Why aren't we discussing that? We need to look in the mirror before pointing fingers

2. The missed headbutt call. Not sure why they called that on us and not on them. Refs would have to explain that. Still not sure of this no call changed the game

3. The mike mitchell flag. I can live with that. Happens every week. That's Goodell's nfl for you. 10 years ago that would not have been a flag. 10 years from now there will be a flag for hurting someone's feelings. That's the new nfl :)

We lost because the stage was too big for some of the guys on defense and they also let the 9ers get into their head. Things like blown coverages, missed tackles which were so uncharacteristic of this defense. Again, the bar is very low for shula's crappy offense, but our great defense lost focus in key moments.

I mean looking at the actual points is one thing, but you forget the psychological effect this has on the players, especially the double standard headbutt call. Yeah its a big stage and yeah the 49ers got into their heads, but that wasn't enough, the refs were there too. If players are worrying about the refs as much as they are the other team, that leads to these missed tackles and whatnot. Team went on full tilt eventually deflating into what we saw.
