#2870509 Lookin at our Schedule if we can even crack 10 wins this is a super bowl lock

Were gonna be a defensive, smash mouth, bad ass team. Nobody in the nfl is going to be looking forward to playing us. I think we will be in every single game...

#2863481 Cam Fully Cleared; Stewart Out 1-2 Weeks

Posted by joemac on 24 July 2014 - 03:18 PM

Salary means nothing.

Cap hit means everything, and is really important when talking about dead money if cut.

It's almost impossible to cut Stew until after the 15 season, and even then you are talking about 7.3 million in dead money.

Cut his ass now and it's 18 million dead.

Cut him next offseason and it's 13 M in dead $.

Cut him after the following season and it's still 7M in dead money.

This is the worst contract on the books, and one that I hated from day 1.

All of you complaining now need to go back and read the Stew signs extension thread....lots of dumbshittery in there.

God that makes me want to fuging vomit.

#2857623 DGantt's 2014 Panthers preview spectacular

I think he's pretty much right. We do have a very good core of players at important positions. I think realistically we are a year away from becoming a consistent year in - year out threat. Saying that, 12 wins again this year wouldn't be surprising.

We should be a very intriguing team to follow this year.

#2845727 Four Teams have Expressed Interest in Andre Johnson

Posted by joemac on 10 July 2014 - 10:35 PM

Im calling it now, it is going to happen.
IDK how but it is.

and if it doesnt, then my post will look stupid.

I'm with you man...I feel it. It's gonna happen. I don't know how, but it is.

If he was open to reworking his deal, he could really turn us into serious championship contenders the next few seasons. He was never a burner so him being 33 doesn't affect him like it has Smitty.

Johnson and KB on the outside with Cotchery and/or Avant in the slot...Olsen over the middle, our plethora of backs, our bad ass QB. Goddamn that would be killer.

#2845249 Cam & WRs meeting up before training camp to build chemistry.

Peyton Manning left the Colts and is having the best numbers of his career

After like 16 years, multiple neck surgeries, an entire missed season and Andrew Luck -- just a tad different than our situation.

I think in an ideal world this becomes a very strong bond, years of production and, excuse my naivety, incentive to stay in Carolina over taking big money somewhere else.

Seriously, when was the last time a team let their true franchise QB walk to another team in the prime of his career? It's not gonna happen here. Cams gonna be the Panthers QB for the foreseeable future.

#2843217 Will Seattle's 12th man be as loud this year?

Posted by joemac on 08 July 2014 - 08:11 PM

$20 per gram? Ouch.

That's pretty much how much it costs in the streets. Especially for some kill...

#2839378 G.Olsen:I'm a TE, not a WR and proud if it

Posted by joemac on 03 July 2014 - 02:12 PM

Well, there ya go. A good example of how Graham would fair against elite CBs if he was a true WR. Talib is good, but I'm not sure if I'd call him truly elite. Even old Smitty was eating him up.

Ice up, son.

#2838715 Cam ranked smack dab in the middle of QBs according to some league insiders

Posted by joemac on 02 July 2014 - 11:33 PM

Through their first 2 years in the league:
Cam: 29 INTs
Luck: 27 INTs

Cam: 1 INT every 34 passes
Luck: 1 INT every 44 passes

Luck threw 195 MORE passes, and still had less INTs than Cam.

% of passes intercepted last year:

Cam: 2.7% (20th best in the league)
Luck: 1.6% (6th best in the league)

Sorry to let actual facts and reality get in the way of your incorrect assumptions. I hate when that happens.

.....and 7 in 2 playoff games.

#2837379 Which player would you like to see have a breakout year?

Posted by joemac on 01 July 2014 - 08:12 PM

Cam...I honestly think he is scratching the surface of how good he can be.

#2828661 Is Charlotte NC now "Greatest Uniform City Ever"

Posted by joemac on 24 June 2014 - 09:40 AM

All 3 of the new Hornets unis are just poo hot....really nice. I don't usually mark out over a basketball uniform, but being a lifelong Charlotte resident and former huge Hornets fan, I love their new design. Especially the teal version, poo is hot!!

I'm not gay but if Cam wanted to rape me, I'm not putting up a fight.

Like you could stop him from taking what he wanted anyways....

Lol Cam as Alan....he's definitely more the Bradley Cooper type. Too bad we don't have Pickles anymore. He would definitely be the Alan of the group.

#2817304 Stewart healthy & moving well. Rivera's Party Line a Red Herring.

Posted by joemac on 12 June 2014 - 09:21 AM

Take away Cam's frantic scrambles and the run game is nonexistent last year.

But we have seen for the last 3 years that those are a part of Cams game and you can't take those away...that's what he does. I don't know why people are so anxious to have Cam stop running. He's extremely successful at it, and I hardly remember him taking any big hits when he's running the ball. In the pocket is where he takes most of his damage, I.E. the last Saints game 2 years ago, or the Miami game last year.
