Amazon Fire stick

12 December 2014 - 02:29 PM

So as a prime member I just got one delivered for $20 because it was a good deal. I have an apple TV and not sure if there is an advantage over the apple tv. Here are my 3 options:

1. - Keep it as a back up to my apple tv

2. - Give it to my college son (no prime) for christmas.

3.- Give it to my 70 year old dad who is pessimistic about these thing but was intrigued when I showed him Apple TV when I went to visit at thanksgiving. (no prime also).

I am leaning towards giving it to my dad because he is the guy who has everything but not this. Because of that, i rarely give him a Christmas present.

What say you huddle?

pros / cons?

Ummmm....no thank you.

Rosolie, 26, has created a "snake-proof" suit, and allowed himself to be eaten alive by a massive anaconda for an upcoming Discovery Channel TV special, aptly titled "Eaten Alive".

Red Zone Stats

04 November 2014 - 12:40 PM

So I was looking through some individual red zone stats and came across a few semi-interesting things:

- D Reavis leads all RB's in red zone touches (9)

- K Benjamin has more red zone targets (10) than all other WR's combined (8).

- J Cotchery was targeted 22 times in the red zone with Pittsburgh last year but has only 1 RZ  target so far this year.

- Greg Olsen has 9 red zone targets this year but none in the last 3 games.

- Ed Dickson has not been targeted in the red zone.

- 6 different RB's have had more than 1 red zone touch this year.

Greg Cosell talks Cam and the Saints game

03 November 2014 - 11:58 AM

This is from Friday but I searched and didn't see it posted. Mostly breaks down Cam and talks about a couple of the individual plays from the game. Some of you may not like what he has to say but it's worth a listen for those that want to.

Egg Drop Challenge Help Needed

03 November 2014 - 11:24 AM

So my daughter needs to construct something to protect an egg from breaking on a 2 story drop.

Drinking Straws

Rubber Bands

Pipe Cleaners

- Must be able to get into the container within one minute.

- No hard boiled or frozen eggs

 - Eggs cannot be completely covered in glue.

So I am thinking I need to make the container out of the straws and somehow use rubber bands to secure the egg inside it to "give" when it hits.

Any ideas?
