The GOOD people in Game of Thrones are often depicted as BAD. Many times the BAD people are depicted as GOOD.
That said, more than anything, these characters go through a transformation. Every single one of them.
Ned held his oaths higher than anything, when he betrayed those oaths he died.
Robb was an oath breaker, something he killed his kinsman for and something his father routinely executed people for, thus he died and his family died.
Kat acted with as little honor as possible TBH. She released Jamie Lanister, she fuged up negotiations with Renly/Stannis, she fuged up
arresting Tyrion, she fuged up keep Tyrion prisoner and on and on. ALLL of this because she wasn't strong of will and acted like a dumb woman. Thus she died.
Everyone wants to say I quit because of this "loss". YOU really need to be looking at the fact a television shory/book made you have real emotions that cause you to act at all.
