#3148115 Most NFL media people are predicting Panthers/Falcons will be flexed to SNF

Car/Atl is essentially a playoff game. That's why it probably gets flexed.

#3115324 Bye Bye Antoine Cason...

Posted by Pazhoosier89 on 02 December 2014 - 11:46 AM

The troubling thing to me is, where is Gettleman while all of this is going on? It's clear Rivera has lost the locker room and has now gotten rid of at least two guys he praised before that ended up "talking back" through the media. Isn't a GM's job all personnel moves? So is Rivera just bypassing Gettleman, or is Gettleman overseeing this cosmic joke?

Don't get me wrong, Cason deserved to be released based on his play. But, so does Roman Harper, DeCoud, Byron Bell, Nate Chandler, and the list goes on and on.

Perhaps Gman is letting Rivera hang himself.

Even if he makes the kick. They have 1:30 to go and win it. Needed one more first down but Shula went full retard when we got in field goal range.

If youte gonna blame a GM it should be Hurney for his ridiculous contracts. Gettleman is trying to fix the team on a shoestring budget because of it.

Tevin Coleman is as good as any or the Rbs listed except for Gurley. He's a junior but he probably will come out after this year. He gets no recognition because hes on a bad team.

#2751438 Latimer v. D. Adams

Posted by Pazhoosier89 on 25 April 2014 - 12:44 PM

Yea, I know there's been a Latimer hype machine brewing the past week or so. I still don't think he's a top 3 rounds draft pick. There's at least 12 or so WRs I'd rather have than him. I don't get where this hype came from all of a sudden. Was there some mysterious game film that popped up that scouts started seeing that wasn't around during or after the college football season? I'm ALWAYS wary of these late draft season hype buildups. If he wasn't as highly thought of as the other guys shortly after the season, barring something completely out of the ordinary he shouldn't be shooting up the big boards all of a sudden for no apparent reason.

Same thing happens every year. And almost every year these cases prove fruitless.

Latimer didn't run at the combine because of an injury. That's why he wasn't hyped by the media. I'm sure he was on the NFL scouts radar and the media has joined the hype party a little bit late after seeing his pro day results.

#2737495 Jason Verrett worked out for Carolina

Its called BPA. If the board happens to all that way I would have no problem adding 2 secondary playmakers in the first 2 rounds.

So we should definitely take bridgewater if he falls right? Bpa is bull poo. It's best need available is more like it. We just lost 2 corner stones on offense in gross and smitty but you want to double dip on cb in first two rounds. That is stupid no matter how you look at it

QB is different because only one can be on the field at a time and we have Cam so there's no reason to have another one even if it happens to be BPA. Any other positions should be fair game. Reaching for need is what bad teams do. This draft class happens to be very deep in the positions we are weaker in OT, WR, CB so we won't have to reach to get a position of need.

I wouldn't hate it at all. I'm at the point to where i don't care who we select. They are obviously putting their work in and it wouldn't be fair to judge a player this year anyway. I still think we are two years out from being actual contenders. I don't have a problem with that. I can wait.

We went 12-4 last year and we're 2 years from being contenders? Makes a lot of sense.
