#2264899 The Last of Us...

Posted by Miaoww on 22 June 2013 - 11:01 AM

Just copped it today! Could someone please give a brother some tips on how to get the F out of the capital building with Ellie? I was going towards the rear exit and now I'm cornered and keep getting shot.

Erm if memory serves:

You run upstairs. Follow the bannister round and exit through the doors (might be a hole?) - there's a dead firefly with a hunting rifle if that helps.  This then leads up to an encounter upstairs with several guards/rooms. Followed by an encounter downstairs with several guards/rooms.

After all that you run out onto the street to freedom.

#2243294 Fast and Furious 6

What I like about the Fast & Furious series, is that they know their target audience and they're unashamed about it.

No pandering to the general public, just making the film they want to.

With Five they were very fortunate that it actually turned out to be a very good film. Almost as a by-product.

#2242155 London Soldier Hacked to Death in Broad Daylight

Posted by Miaoww on 24 May 2013 - 07:19 PM

btw, brits disagree that it was 20 minutes before officers responded.

It was probably 20 minutes until armed police responded. Remember, our police officers don't carry guns. I don't know the full details, but I suspect police officers were on scene earlier, but weren't equipped to arrest two armed suspects (one of them had a revolver).

As for the rest of Floppin's statement - these guys weren't running around slashing everyone.

They murdered the soldier then acted calmly waiting for the police to arrive. This wasn't a random act of violence. This was a statement. A targeted attack against a serving British soldier. The publicity they're receiving now is exactly what they wanted.

Several ladies approached them - one of whom, the "fat chick", went over to see what she could do for the dead man. Her daughter spoke to the other murderer.

The third lady spoke to the man who was filmed, asking him why he did it. He was rational. Yes he was covered in blood and wielding a cleaver, but he wasn't threatening her.

Basically those three ladies showed tremendous courage.

I have a penpal I write to in London. She's hot

Is he?

It's snowed in Cambridge, but nothing like these pictures show. I'm from Chorley - I'm meant to go home this week. Looks like that's out the window judging by those pictures!
