Jackson was a late second round pick who took years to develop, and he had a pro-bowl QB putting the ball right *there* for him. It will be interesting to see how he does without that.
Edwards is just as fast and has a better character. He will also work his ass off to succeed. I will be as surprised if he doesn't become a solid NFL receiver as I will to see Jackson put up pro-bowl numbers with someone like Matt Leinart throwing him the ball.
Unfortunately your average football fan has no patience and wants the all important instant gratification just like the average person wants out of everything in life these days.
Wear it..its cleveland who cares...now if it was Philly then I would say don't...especially if it is snowing outside!!
You've obviously never been to a game in Cleveland. Browns fans (what few of them there are) are hardcore guys and they don't like visitors. I'd say they're the 4th or 5th least friendly fanbase to opposing fans.
The NFL only cares about white people. If they truly cared about diversity they'd have more minorities making decisions and wouldnt have to come up with "Rooney Rules" to self police themselves. You guys are in here looking out for white folks interest, why are you shocked other people do the same?
Let me ask you something, how many black coaches are there out there? Now compare that to the percentage of black Americans in the US. It's above the curve.
You complain about the lack of black GMs but you SHOULD be complaining about how so many people in the black community doesn't further themselves with things like college education. Of course you're going to say that it's because white people keep down minorities but what about the Middle Eastern and Indian immigrants who do... Go into any business school, engineering school or medical school in the country and you'll find a shockingly low number of black students in those classes. It's not the colleges keeping them out, it's the black culture in the US today.
Rather than bitch about how white people are evil and keep down the noble black man, you should look at how the black man keeps down other black men first. The opportunities exist, whose fault is it for now taking advantage of them?
