I have always admired the seahawks likeness to us. However having Cam marginalized in the media so often irks me. Especially how close he is to the top tier QBs. Russel seems to get all the accolades for his "ability to run", he fuging takes 3 steps forwards and the media splurges on themselves. whereas Cam runs 20 yards stiff arming a big ass Dlineman and we get " Cam can run but is he even a qb??? hes like a RB who can kinda throw". Its infuriating to have him minimalized at his position when he is a damn good passer too.
Oh I have been right here reading posts like yours all season. And trust me I don'tt need any help from you. The difference is that my opinions are informed by facts and are based on those who are experts and know football much better than I do. Unlike folks like you who can't prove what they are saying and hide behind the veil of being lazy.
There are also well thought out and informed posts on this board from a litany of people on why so many believe Shula is a bad OC. Some of which from Igo and other high quality posters on here.
So many posts about Shula and there are well researched points on both sides. The difference is how each person interprets the information. Don't say all the people who say Shula is bad are ill informed, a lot of us are well informed and have over the course of the seasons layout why we believe what we do.
After a while you get tired of showing the same facts and information. Two sides of the argument exist and the facts people show support their side of the argument only.
So we disagree, stop belittling someone else's point because you disagree. It makes you look foolish.
Yeah no. Your whole post doesn't even address what I'm talking about at all.
Shula did work with what we had and we were middle of the pack. Improving on what we did last year when we had better pieces in place with less injuries.
We weren't middle of the pack untill we hit bad teams and went on a run, hell not even that was offense as much as it was Def getting back to form. Take away our def we are last on offense. Look at it any way you want but your wrong.
Oh my god it's like talking to retards. Seems like the point is completely lost on you. Good day
Your point isn't lost on anyone in fact we all see what your trying to say. We disagree and I think there is much more evidence toward his bad play calling than his good.
OC need to be fluid and create plays for what pieces he has not what he is suppose to. No OC has everything they want but they make adjustments to fit the QB, the WRs and the Oline that you do have. Shula does none of this and runs the same plays no matter who's in there.
Also he doesn't make adjustments at the half and the other team does. Which leads to plays that worked early not working anymore but he still does it. He's one dimensional and can't or won't change.
I love JR. as a person but I don't like his ownership lately. He's a great personable, caring, open owner, but he lacks greatly in the ability to make hard decisions based on numbers and not heart. Gettleman helps balance it but it's still to lenient on coaches.
