i wonder what the ravens think of this

has there been a case where a high profile player called up a radio show in his old market and went off like that while still on his new team's roster?

To the people trying to compare Steve to their lives and work etc. Just think for a second, have you ever been the top 5 (at any time in your career) at what you do?

uh you know who originally brought up the "oh yeah well what if it was you?" argument right?

so the trajectory has gone

1.  try to make the situation personally relatable

2.  withdraw the scenario when people actually do personally relate to it and point out inconvenient facts

3.  try to argue now that the situation is nothing like your life and you shouldn't try to relate to it because you don't get it

seems massively self contradictory to me

peppers humiliated us in his first game back too.  had a freaking interception off a tipped pass, ran like ten yards downfield so that he was all by himself, and gave the "shush" gesture to the crowd.

there are going to be other games played and life is going to go on.  i promise.

unless ebola goes airborne in which case we're all gonna die

this sounds like dave mustaine talking about getting kicked out of metallica

i promise you if steve smith gets inducted into the hall of fame he's going to take a piss shot at the panthers on the podium in canton

Apples and oranges

oh okay so if they're different things then i guess you have no business trying to make it personally relatable to anyone here then

glad we're done with that

you know there are people who get paid a lot less than millions of dollars doing harder poo than getting paid to play a game that don't get to see their families

Would you? The guy obviously still wants to be a Panther, but because of one man's selfish and arrogant decision he has to get on a plane to see his family every week.

this has only happened to one guy in nfl history, and that's steve smith

You could absolutely make an argument that if Smitty keeps this up and gets the 1800 some yards he projected for, he deserves to be MVP.

anything is possible but it's really hard for a wide receiver to get attention for that award.  calvin johnson was a hair shy of 2000 receiving yards in 2012 and didn't even get a vote.

#2991656 Gil Brandt draft redo

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 01 October 2014 - 07:56 AM

if we'd have let hardy walk and shored up the offensive line instead we'd be losing 38-28 instead of 38-10

we kind of have a problem rushing the passer and containing the run right now and i imagine things wouldn't be much different on that front if hardy was getting paid to sit at home by some other team

#2991645 First Case Of Ebola Diagnosed In The U.S.

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 01 October 2014 - 07:52 AM

it's not like you can sneeze in an elevator and infect people with ebola

for him to infect someone else they would have had to come in contact with bodily fluids

#2991091 Dave Gettleman?

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 30 September 2014 - 06:44 PM

The Tyler gaffney thing is a scenario that goes off without a hitch every single year. Teams waive players and they pass through to IR every offseason.

Whose roster spot should he have taken so we could wait it out through cuts and IR him with no risk?

How strange a disease that thrives in areas with bad sanitation and poor access to health care is much less deadly in a first world nation with state of the art facilities and treatments.

Is it also a massive conspiracy that say malaria kills more people outside the US?
