#2383683 You wanna know why we won't sign Kerry Rhodes? :/

You were obviously born sexually attracted to women. It's the same thing but in reverse.

Someone move this sht to the tinderbox so we can get back to football.

well personally the football topic isn't really something that does it for me right now re: the panthers

i'd welcome a full scale flamewar on an unrelated topic at this point

#2383635 You wanna know why we won't sign Kerry Rhodes? :/

Please do not bring religion and Christianity into this. Especially when you know nothing of it. Don't even respond to me.

But to Rhodes. The fact that he's gay is his choice. Theres nothing wrong With our nfl players if they aren't comfortable with that. Media makes out people like me to be a bad person just bc I don't believe in it and they do.
Do I go throwing rocks and taking pitchforks to gay people? No of course not. But do I want to be associated ad have my family kids brothers little children around that lifestyle? No sir I do not. Just the same way that i don't want my family around a bunch of drunks or druggies. I don't think I'm any better than these people. Just how I feel. And sounds like most of the Nfl dosent wanna be associated with him. Which is not their problem or fault.

#2383202 Giants will work out S Kerry Rhodes

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 16 September 2013 - 03:52 PM

Man, yall are in some bad shape.  We've come so far down, that we want to sign guys like Kerry Rhodes.  Rhodes is one of those safeties who is consistently beaten.  There's no question about that.  The Jets couldn't wait to get rid of him, and probably Arizona fans couldn't wait to get rid of him.  He's a little better than Nakamura, a back up at best.

64.5 QB rating in 2012 on passes thrown at him

man, that's pretty sorry

if we lose two in a row it's pretty much a given that highlandfire will be roused from his trailer home to provide his vaunted opinion

#2382450 On the Cheap...another wasted season brought to you courtesy of Richardson

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 16 September 2013 - 12:05 PM

harbaugh turned down a blank check to coach the dolphins that offseason.  he wasn't coming to an east coast team unless it was like the new york giants or patriots or something.  get over it, richardson's comments or "cheapness" didn't keep him from coming here any more than me saying that i'm not able to flap my arms and fly is keeping me from doing that.

#2381908 Cam has to feel trapped on a terrible football team

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 16 September 2013 - 09:17 AM

Cam was clutch in the Jaguars game. He also was clutch in the Saints game last year, clutch in the Falcons game last year too. Stop doing drugs.

clutch in the vikings game in 2011 but the kicker missed the game tying field goal

also clutch against the redskins last season seeing edwards on that broken coverage to key a 90 yard drive that iced the game.

e: also hit steve smith for a touchdown right before the half with a torn up thumb iirc

#2381792 Cam has to feel trapped on a terrible football team

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 16 September 2013 - 08:37 AM

Could Clausen throw picks into triple coverage?

Could Clausen get sacked 5 times and never throw the ball away to avoid?

Could Clausen overthrow receivers by 5 yards on 30 yd passes?

Could Clausen not read the "read" option?

If you don't have a reason to be on a high horse, don't climb up there, Cam is stinking it up.  It was a huge chance to have drafted him when there was so little passing for any team to review with Cam.  Running, yes, plenty of tape, but it was a faith move to hope he could develop into a pocket passer.

Some are losing faith

this post is making my eyes bleed.

first of all, unless you disagree with me when i posit that things could absolutely be worse, then you have no business replying.  if thinking that somebody posted something that's demonstrably false constitutes "being on a high horse" then you should direct this shitpost of yours to everybody on this forum rather than just me.

but i'll humor you.  as for jimmy, if he had put up cam's game on sunday, it would be far and away his best game as a pro.  like not even close.  jimmy is a known quantity-he sucks, he's not on an NFL team, it's just a fact that he was overdrafted and hurney made a mistake selecting him, etc.  these are basic things that are generally accepted as true and can be backed up easily with facts and the burden of proof is 100% on you if you disagree.

as for losing faith, that's fine.  i'm losing faith too, but not in any one particular player more than the coaching staff.  it's amazing to me that, three years after the endless nightmare that was the 2010 season, so many people are taking it for granted that we have a quarterback now whose floor is just average/below average on his absolute worst day.  that we could roll any dipshit out there (as you wanted to do in late 2012 with your obnoxious "start derek because the games don't matter" shitposting spree) and he'd be at least as good as cam.  stupid as hell, and that was my point.

e: clausen threw 9 picks to 3 TDs in his only significant time as a starter.  he has no problem turning the ball over to address (what i suppose was) your point.

goddamn it, I forgot what it was like when we had consecutive losing games around here. "LUCK LUCK LUCK!?!?!?!"

well they would be yelling about griffin too if his team didn't get shithoused today

at least that element is unlikely to show its face for a while

#2380453 Cam has to feel trapped on a terrible football team

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 15 September 2013 - 08:35 PM

What do you mean he got better?  Lol as the season progressed last year, his completion % went down.  He had a streak at the end of the year where he was below 50%.  And his stat line today was right on par with Cam's...Cam threw 2 TD's to his 1, and the completion % was about the same.  How do you figure he's getting better?

Man, you just want Luck to be better sooooo bad.  You're not making any sense. He threw a million passes?  Lol is that the best you got? If he threw a million passes, and was progressing like you said, his % would have gone up late last season.  Instead it went down, which showed he was getting worst.

most of the people dry humping luck are basically just saying that he passes the eye test in an extremely roundabout way

"the kid may have had a low completion percentage but he progressed so much.  i care about wins, not stats.  that's a lesson you cam fans could learn from if i say so myself!"

so why are people in here blubbering about andrew luck when he put up a similar stat line to cam and his team lost today

just save up your mcdonalds paychecks and buy your jersey and shut up already

This

Cam wins rings, he can do whatever he wants

oh, okay

so when people say "you don't see brady doing xyz!" in reference to cam we should assume they're omitting his actual behavior

#2371821 ESPN's Predictions

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 12 September 2013 - 12:16 PM

The more I learn about football, the less I respect the opinions of those who are flapping their gums..

Most sports commentators are lazy and will not let go of a errant story (i.e. EJ Manuel is football jeebus) until they are beat over the head with it. Only after we start winning will they start picking us, just like any other bandwaggoneer.

espn is only on tv in my home if it's monday night football or a college game i want to watch.

their "analysis" is worthless.  nfl network is getting to be just as bad.
