#2311131 The Pro Football Hall of Fame

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 04 August 2013 - 07:31 PM

you can say that again, and that has as much to do with him not getting in as his shortcomings in the numbers department. most obnoxious, over the top, jive, ready to fight player in the league. only player in nfl to assault multiple teammates, and actually ended a teammates career with a sucker punch in a darkened film room. he is a testament to the woeful lack of appealling players in panthers history, when he is your best chance at the hall. he wont even sniff the hallowed hall without buying a ticket, and with his reputation he still might not be allowed in. its a joke mentioning his name in the same sentence as the hall of fame. forget about it!

I wonder who this is

#2310678 Final uniform contest thread

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 04 August 2013 - 07:29 AM

You don't know what we were doing. It was a fan base that was mobilized and organized. There. was not anyone using auto clickers because we tested it and realized it was actually slower and less effective than manually voting.

That is why you saw our votes dramatically increase after the Falcons round (which was during the round the thread you linked was happening)

yeah the panthers' social media people were pushing it on twitter and facebook and the fanbase was motivated.  it also didn't hurt that all this happened right before training camp when people were starting to get hyped about the season.

why is that so hard to believe?

#2310436 Final uniform contest thread

also check out the graphs in this thread.

there's no consistent baseline which would indicate botting (our vote total would be a flat line really late at night) and the 49ers were actually beating us for a while at one point.  the voting also spikes at the times you'd expect it to (people waking up, going on lunch, coming home).

but i understand that you need to be edgy and go against popular opinion.  that's never been tried here before of course.

#2309632 I say we get cooper

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 03 August 2013 - 08:02 AM

This thread won't about Cooper.. This thread us about taking a look at yourself... Some of you should read your own comments and see how unreasonable you sound. Didn't Jesus say "judge not, lest you be judged" ... If it was a black player saying "ill fug up every cracker in. There " who would be saying anything? Yeah that word doesn't have the same history but isn't it the intentions behind the comment that. Counts? I don't condone what was said but I do think its time that we as a people learn how to forgive and forget. Especially when someone obviously wants and need your forgiveness. We all need to hold ourselves to a higher standard

great take.

up next we've got terry from hickory on line 2 who wants to talk about school vouchers.  welcome to the show terry.

#2307346 "Me and my Obamaphones" - yet another case of government inefficiency...

remember reagan's infamous "mondale will take away your reaganphone" ad that carried him to victory in the 84 election

#2307143 What exactly is the point of running a conservative offense?!?

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 01 August 2013 - 10:19 AM

a conservative ball control offense is something that can occasionally be an effective in-game situational strategy when it's executed perfectly.  even that's noticeably starting to go away with teams like the saints around that can get in to scoring position in 50 seconds.

the idea that it can be effective as an overall offensive philosophy is a stone age mentality.

#2307067 NC House Dances With Joy Over Their Accomplishments

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 01 August 2013 - 09:52 AM

I have been, might still be ;)

I mis-read your first post about %'s.

I have 0 faith in the TSERS to provide me with any sort of worthwhile pension. I think with a higher salary one could project a better retirement with their own investment strategies, one that wouldn't be "tinkered" with.

As a former RIF person, who (IMO) was removed for more than just normal reasons, I have zero faith in SPA.

NC Gov work is falling off a cliff and fast IMO.

yeah, as you can see there's the story i share with what i assume to be the uninitiated and the version i can talk about with those who know what's really going on.

i've got an escape plan in my back pocket for sure.

#2302616 Ryan is a $100 million man, what do you expect for Cam?

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 28 July 2013 - 04:16 PM

based on your reasoning cam would play for nothing, hasn't ryan been in the playoffs every year? he's a winner, at least in the regular season, and you have to win in the regular season for the chance to play on. regular season wins are hard to come by, much less playoff wins. give ryan some credit. nevermind, he doesn't need it.

maybe you should tweet this devastating rebuttal to fauxjohnmadden because that's where it originally came from

#2301889 Swag's 7-26 Camp Observations

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 27 July 2013 - 06:13 PM

a lot of outlets assigned amini a borderline first round grade just based on his physical talents.  that he's strong, tough, and plays to the whistle was never in question.  most of the knocks on him coming in to the nfl were about his raw technique and how he'd adjust to the huge difference between DII level talent and what he'd face in the pros.

he did whip gerald mccoy in the second bucs game.  just because he's not a carl nicks yet doesn't mean that he's not good.

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 26 July 2013 - 09:19 PM

My point is that you need a photo ID to do things in everyday life, why should voting be any different.

my grandmother didn't have a photo ID for at least the last 10 years she was alive.

most voter fraud comes in the form of absentee balloting which voter ID laws won't do a damn thing to solve anyway.  that trends republican though so the GOP doesn't give a poo.
