#2889258 Andrew Norwell - Quietly Impressive

that's an OL kind of mug for damn sure

#2889232 Same bet as last year.

it's about that time again

Poor man version that's classic. Geno will be a better qb in the nfl than Cam. You can quote me on that.

What the hell at #8?

Mallett has supposedly been horrible and shown almost zero development. That garoppolo kid is said to be completely showing him up right now.

#2888679 Who's the guy that you're glad you don't have?

Acknowledging what a player did for the franchise but being ready to move on isn't the same thing as hating Steve Smith FYI.

What a bunch of Judas on this board, I hope you feel better about yourselves kicking Steve Smith on his way out. Don't bother cheering him when we play Baltimore or tuning in for his retirement ceremony, you don't deserve it.

I wasn't planning on cheering for the ravens when we play them anyway.

#2887359 OROY will be one of these rookies.

Put this random scout tweet in your pipe and smoke it Alice

@JoshLiskiewitz: This is the 13th game I've evaluated this week, and Benjamin & Turner may be the most impressive duo of rookies on 1 team I've broken down.

#2886257 Racist voter id laws only give citizens 15 hours to vote

Posted by Nicks To The Colts on 11 August 2014 - 11:20 AM

I'd love to see absentee reform...where are the democrat proposals to fix it.

thanks g5 i was dying for a chance to post this

Rep. Darren Jackson, D-Wake, tried to have the legislation apply the same ID standards to mail-in absentee voting, saying it's far easier to cast a fraudulent vote by mail than in person.

Under the bill, absentee voters would have to provide a driver's license number, the final four digits of a Social Security number or other federally-approved identification documents, such as a copy of a utility bill, with their mail-in ballot.

"You're creating two classes of voters," Jackson said, shortly before his proposal was soundly defeated.

yeah except you're not just saying "the saints performed better statistically".  any idiot knows what you're doing pat.

the entire subtext of your douchey posting career here is that any time the saints lose a game it's because of a "fluke" or it really wasn't as bad as it looked or the saints almost won or could/should have if it wasn't for bad luck.

meanwhile you've dismissed anything good the panthers have ever done by brushing it off as a "fluke win" or that the opponent sucked.  the panthers had two "fluke losses" in 2013 using almost the exact same arguments and concepts you use for the saints against the bills and seahawks.

when people come at you with the jokes about how the saints haven't actually lost a game in years and really won the super bowl last year it's an extrapolation of your own posting and it's amazing that you don't understand that.

#2883613 Kelvin Benjamin - Aside from the touchdown....

Posted by Nicks To The Colts on 09 August 2014 - 10:32 AM

Not that it matters getting in to what could have or might have...  but in most games I think Benjamin gets McKelvin.  He is far more athletic and faster then Gilmore.  He would have been able to keep up and get in to position much more easily then Gilmore.  And, slammed to the ground - nah, because they'd have just pulled the CB back 5 yards and any contact would be illegal.  Also, they'd have gone to a cover 4.

From the limited amount I saw of KB I have to believe the best way to cover him in the NFL is to intercept and cut him off in motion with the safety.  There is little to not reason to not double team him because there are no viable threats to catch a cold on the team.  Double coverage on KB will be done from his first snap in his first game.  Against the Bucs you will likely see the CB play inside and under on KB, avoid nearly all contact and let Goldson cover the top.  Goldson will likely even be the first player to make contact.  Being that he only ran a 4.61 Benjamin isn't blowing by anyone and defenders have a better chance at jumping his route then they do actually stopping him.  He's just too big and powerful.

If you can keep him outside it will be even easier but a nearly impossible task to do.

good points all around

honestly i'll be shocked if kelvin benjamin has a catch his entire rookie year

or his entire NFL career
