#2837332 Panthers enter their 20th season (Emblem Inside)

Not with "the league is God, fug Charlotte" Jerry in charge.  When he becomes worm food, then maybe, after Bruton Smith or Rick Hendrick by the team.

let's hoist one for shelbypanther, the dumbest person to ever successfully operate a computer

She looked at me. “You play something then.”

I tuned up and played All Apologies an octave higher than the album and she didn’t know the song and then Matt took her back and banged her, and that was kind of my life.

brings back memories

"oh you play guitar?  play me something!"

"uh um eh okay"

While plan B has been declared unharmful to unborn fetuses, Ella has not, and so the possibility may theoretically arise of it being abused for DIY abortions.

Meanwhile, When a woman gets pregnant while using an IUD, the pregnancy will be high-risk and likely recommended by a doctor to be aborted.

While I don't know if this is the rationale behind challenging these forms of contraception, this is how I could almost begin to understand it.

if that's their reasoning then it's piss poor.

IUDs are among the most effective forms of birth control that exist.  even the basic barrier versions that don't release levonorgestrel have failure rates below 1%.  the general public has a substantially higher risk of developing a high risk pregnancy (6-8% of the population from where i sourced it) than a user of an inert IUD has of getting pregnant in the first place.

i have read that ella can be abused in order to induce abortion at least in theory.  what i read on wikipedia suggested that sample sizes when testing this concept were small and the data was inconclusive (one trial with 29 subjects).  the RCOG (uk ob/gyn professional association) put forth that the product won't reliably induce abortion because the dosage is so small and it needs to be combined with another compound to work.

anyway if "well you might could maybe induce an abortion or harm a fetus with it" is really their rationale then they should also be in a moral panic over every other drug that could potentially endanger a pregnancy as well (which is a lot).  probably wouldn't hurt to institute a buddy program to make sure their pregnant employees aren't drinking alcohol or going kayaking either.

The contraceptives at issue before the court were the emergency contraceptives Plan B and ella, and two IUDs.

neither of those are abortifacients for those of you in the "obummer wanted to make them pay for abortions" camp

#2834200 What is the Worst Fan Base in the NFL

Posted by Nicks To The Colts on 28 June 2014 - 11:40 AM

Those answering saints fans are dating themselves. Pre 2006, no one around would have answered saints as they were our whipping boy. We owned them under fox and before Brees.

Falcons and Niners fans are the more appropriate answers. Our history with the falcons has never faded. Also the proximity of the cities, the Vick years, and then Matt Ryan owning us in his bldg adds to it.

Answering cowboys and steelers is also acceptable just for geographical reasons.

to be fair though saints fans have made up for lost time in a big way

#2833726 Ann Coulter hates soccer

Posted by Nicks To The Colts on 27 June 2014 - 03:50 PM

Only if your definition of troll-sh is more intelligent, more successful, and just downright smarter.

I only come in here because I am AMAZED at the number of completely ignorant people there are. Not undeducated necessarily but completely "box of rocks" dumb.  And it is also very interesting that all of them are liberals and are continuously touting how unfair everything is.....how the successful people in the world don't deserve it....and how the fact that they don't measure up is completely someone else's fault.

I just don't get to experience this that often as my friends typically have a certain level of higher intelligence and success.

Carry on.

so you read longtriad and shelbypanther posts and honestly think to yourself "this person is smarter than cwg"

#2829426 Get ready for this....

I'm saying what I'm saying, I would bet Cam could not do Brees TRX workout. Panda bear made a ridiculous comment about him not sweating which I took as implying it's not that difficult. Sure, after some time doing it, Cam should be able to do it, but the point was its an incredibly difficult workout and most athletes wouldn't be able to do that routine day 1. Just like an article about crossfit last month saying that even the NFL professional athletes can't keep up with the crossfit guys that have been doing it for a while.

It wasn't too long ago that Julius Peppers would have been stonewalled by an untested rookie. At least Hardy did what he was supposed to do. I wouldn't break the bank to extend him long term though.

it seems likely that either charles johnson or greg hardy will be punching his ticket out of charlotte, especially with the selection of ealy.

then, all the dumbasses on this board who've maligned them as overrated stat-padders who beat up inferior competition for the past four years will shitpost about how irreplaceable they are and how badly the panthers fuged up.

#2823415 US Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark

Posted by Nicks To The Colts on 18 June 2014 - 01:14 PM

oh no, the slippery slope!

the kennedy adminstration actually threatened to kick the redskins out of their stadium unless they brought in black players 50 years ago.  that's uncle sam meddling in freaking roster decisions.  this is nothing and, as pointed out previously, has happened before.

by the way pilot2011, i remember the breathtakingly ignorant poo you posted a while back when the amendment one stuff was going on and i don't buy this "i'm not bigoted" crap from you for a second.
