Lol at this thread

Well..Byers is better than Austin.

There is a reason why the NFL hasn't hired me.....random guesses don't always come true

#2048482 Rivera will be back

Posted by CRA on 16 December 2012 - 04:49 PM

Winning pointless games.....doesn't answer any of the questions or counter the flaws Rivera has shown over the course of two seasons.

Questions about Rivera have always been how he coaches in games that matter......and he has made poor decisions in most of those. What happens now doesn't say much about Rivera......says more about the players.

Bringing back a coach who only plays aggressive in meaningless games...,.still leaves us losing the ones that matter by him coaching scared next year

I thought we would beat Atlanta. We did.

Now that they have announced Piggy is out. We have a zero percent chance of winning this game.... Say hello to what potentially could be the worst OL play you have witnessed in a couple years this weekend.

#2044378 Josh Norman in the doghouse

Posted by CRA on 13 December 2012 - 07:19 AM

Exactly, Nakamura should have been cut a long time ago. Yet he benches the better corner we have. Sorry, captain is #2. Norman was playing well.

Norman was simply letting guys catch the ball....and then tackling them. Repeating that over and over. He wasn't showing progress or adjustment....and was clearly being outplayed by Josh Thomas.

By mid season, Norman was too big of a liability once teams figured out the routes he simply couldn't stop.....and Rivera got tired of it.

he needs work.... he really has been a punching bag most of the year. No progress

#2043453 Talking to Steve Smith

I also think there is a huge difference between introducing yourself to Steve Smith and talking to him.......and being a that guy seeking something from him as a fan (fanatic panther fan).

did they mention matt ryan establishing prior context?

Why would they want to do that?

#2042566 Over the last three games

Posted by CRA on 11 December 2012 - 05:56 PM

i know we're all fans here, but c'mon, three games? so, out of less than 20% of our games on the season, cam is tearing it up? big whoop. now i'm saying that it's all on him, lord knows it can't be with chud-snapandgointobatshitcrazymodewhenwegodownbymorethanonepoint-zinski at the helm. but we should probably tuck our tails at this point in the season. just a dose of humility, i guess.

go back and look at his last 10 games then

19 TDs, 5 INTs....and lead us in rushing most weeks.

If we have had an average run game, OL play and ST.....we would have been rolling. Like last year, not enough play at a high enough level to just help him out.

I hope some grown ass man tried to get his autograph and Cam told him it wasn't the best time

#2041286 Newton's Sophomore Slump - another look

Posted by CRA on 10 December 2012 - 09:27 PM

The stat that says it all for me is that in Cam's 2 years, we have never won a game where he has thrown an INT. We have lost some where he didn't throw a pick but never won one. That tells me if he makes any kind of mistake we are doomed and he has to be almost perfect just for a win. Can you imagine how few games we would won with Jake if we only won when he didn't throw a pick??

Both Luck and RGIII have had the team pick things up for them but not Cam.

Yep, Luck has 6 wins with at least one INT and a couple with multiple. Cam must play flawless to escape with a win and those wins usually require big numbers from him.

#2041025 If Ron stays, is Norv as OC a no brainer?

Posted by CRA on 10 December 2012 - 06:21 PM

1-12 in games decided by a single score.....

Ron is gone. THAT screams NOT a HC

#2040576 How can we have such a complete game?

Posted by CRA on 10 December 2012 - 02:16 PM

also that wasn't a complete game. Our O should of dropped 40 on them.

#2040565 How can we have such a complete game?

Posted by CRA on 10 December 2012 - 02:11 PM

for starters the Falcons are frauds. It is why we had them beat in Atl....and beat them here.

They are the worst 11-2 team I have seen in some time. I will enjoy watching Matty Ice get beat by 21 first round of the playoffs.

#2040560 Newton's Sophomore Slump - another look

Posted by CRA on 10 December 2012 - 02:07 PM

Bucs game, Giants game, super easy

Newton completed 70% of his passes, RBs literally combined for 0 yards. Do me a favor, name the last time that occured in a NFL game. Newton being forced to gamble late with no help in hopes to win.....is NOT poor QB play. Big difference between a QB playing poor vs a team not showing up.

so like I said, first q was 1 poor game. Media turned that game into his slump and slung that song and dance across the board.

It was always a media created hoax which made for a convenient scapegoat that is the 2012 Carolina Panthers season. Did Cam have some bad games this year? Sure did. But when you look at the big picture and not just a game or 2 you could see Cam wasnt really playing far off from what he did last year, even when he struggled. And this is with less production from his supporting cast.

To put it in perspective, Cam has 6 games this year where he posted a QB rating higher than 100. That ties the most Delhomme ever had in a season in his tenure here including the years we went to the Super Bowl and playoffs. Cam still has a few more games to surpass that mark. He's raised the standards and expectations for QBing in Carolina.

In addition to those QB ratings....in 8 of 13 games he has more rushing yards than any of our RBs. That is sad.....horrible spot to put such a young QB in
