Here is Arian Foster during the preseason

Question: How do you feel? Were you 100 percent out there today?

Foster: I'm just out here trying to be the best teammate I can be and I'm gonna work hard at doing that.

Q: Physically, you're good to go?

F: I'm just trying to be the best teammate I can be, man.

Q: Arian, can you tell us exactly what kept you out, what was going on?

F: Yeah, man. I'm just trying to be the best teammate I can be, you know. I'm gonna work hard at doing that.

Q: What was physically wrong with you?

F: Yeah, I'm just out here, working hard every single day, trying to be the best teammate I can be.

Q: What did it mean to be able to get back out here and start working, Arian? And get back with your teammates?

F: You know, being with your teammates and being the best teammate you can be is what you strive to do. So that's what I'm out here for.

Q: Your teammates talk about how they want to see you out here. They know what you mean to this ballclub. What does all that stuff mean to you, Arian?

F: Yeah, man. I'm just (trying) to be the best teammate you can be, man. Just work hard at doing that every single day. That's what we're out here trying to do.

Q: Is your body starting to break down?

F: Yeah, man. I'm just out here trying to be the best teammate I can be. And I'm gonna work hard at doing that.

Q: How's that coming, Arian, your progress with being a better teammate?

F: Yeah, you know, I'm just, every single day, just trying to be a better teammate, man.

Q: What do you think about these fans going crazy for you guys?

F: Yeah, man. I'm just out here trying to be the best teammate I can be. And I'm going to continue doing that.

Q: Is there any difference in the way you felt physically, feel stronger?

F: Yeah, man. I'm just out here trying to be the best teammate I can be. And I'm just going to continue to do that.

Q: What was the offseason like, working at your brother's facility, different than other previous seasons?

F: Yeah, just every single day, man, just working hard, trying to be the best teammate I can be.

Reporter: You got that down.

Foster: Thank you.

Reporter: You're welcome.

Foster: Y'all take care.

#2942281 Goodell will be fired/resign by next week

NOW is a pretty big group and this is a hot button issue with a very visceral video image attached.

Put that together with the congressional involvement and there's a big possibility this isn't so easily solved.

And Rice has been punished. End of the day people are still blurring the line of our judicial system and putting that on Goodell

People will get on ether soapbox....sure.

League has seen worse though.

good. he is a terrible commissioner, adam silver is light years ahead of him and he's only had the job for a year

All a matter of which perspective you are looking from.....owners most likely love him. He does there bidding and catches all the flack. That ultimately is all that matters if you are Roger

#2942017 Goodell will be fired/resign by next week

Big picture....media is going to try to scapegoat Goodell. Yes. I said it.

Bigger issue today isn't Goodell's initial punishment....it is the fact our legal system let Rice get away. That injustice IMO is unfairly being shifted to Goodell. Which is a joke.

Also, our government should have better things to do. There are comparable and worse crimes that have been committed by athletes and those prior commissioners didn't even give those guys 2 games leaving the door also open for additional down he road......and our govt has never given a poo before. Selective caring isn't something I care for.....and they got enough poo to worry about

A voicemail recording from an NFL office goes a long way toward that.

Female. That ain't Goodell

If the media keeps pounding Goddell, the owners will force him out

Nah.

There have been guys who have done worse than Rice and received no punishment before under prior people that have held the job.

It will blow over. NFL owners like Goodell. Unless he had the tape....they will eventually be able to show more fault in our justice system than the NFL IMO

#2939841 The Observer: Panthers Should Suspend Hardy Now

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 09 September 2014 - 05:39 PM

If the Observer thinks that fine.

If JR does it, fine.

But they should of done earlier. Doing it now IMO is showing you are punishing Hardy bc if actions of others as well as his own.

If you thought his case deserved to go through the entire run of the legal system....why should Ray Rice hitting a female like a man change things?

Tough call. IMO. But if they do that then everyone should calm down on Roger Goodell should be fired....bc really people should then jump on Richarson and everyone else too who acts differently now on old decisions

#2938904 OK, let's talk about the Lions

Lions O is better at home vs outdoor on the road. We got that at least going for us

#2937181 Chance to scout Detroit Tomorrow

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 08 September 2014 - 01:42 PM

CRA what do you think the trick is to neutralizing their DL?

Being able to run, use play action and stay ahead of the chains.

I'm not a fan of us focusing on screens and short pass attack....Cam never seems that sharp at it even when we have success. He stares guys down too much and his accuracy is better attacking mid level IMO

#2937061 Godfrey not at fault in Bucs' first touchdown.

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 08 September 2014 - 12:52 PM

The common denominator is he is the safety and if CBs make a mistake he is the one left out to dry. And since he is closest guy to receiver we assume he made the mistake

The common denominator is every week of his career it is another excuse

He is NOT a S. If you suck at coverage and tackling....you aren't a S. Godfrey is weak at both

#2936412 Godfrey not at fault in Bucs' first touchdown.

Oh look another Godfrey apologist thread....what is this the 8,671 time one has been made.

If he is always the guy people are apologizing for and claiming he isn't at fault....then it is safe to say he isn't very good. Good players make plays....not get off on two billion technicalities that someone should of done X so it is okay

#2934778 Game ball, who gets it?!

Posted by DeAngelo's #1 Fan(CRA) on 07 September 2014 - 07:28 PM

Have to give to DA.

Olsen, Luke, etc pretty do what they do. Anderson is the one who stepped up into a tough spot and played above expectations.
