#2163643 Charlotte Worried about stalled talks with Panthers

Posted by GoCarolina8990 on 15 March 2013 - 03:24 PM

I cannot fathom the Carolina's without the Carolina Panthers and that one and only Panther blue

#2153160 Need a history expert here

Posted by GoCarolina8990 on 06 March 2013 - 08:52 PM

Its the off season and this is urgent cause I need to write a 5 page paper on this topic. I might get flamed for this but I need help answering this question:

To what extent were the intellectuals of the Revolutionary generation successful in their attempts to create a strong, unified, republican American culture between 1775 and 1800?

What effect did their efforts have on the course of American history?

Is their dream of American cultural unity still alive today?

and who in the hell in there right mind would ever want Louis Murphy back in a Panthers uni?

PIE will be given

#2111367 Jon Beason just had shoulder surgery

His cap hit is huge if we were to cut or trade him.

He will restructure his deal, I would have to think

#2100353 Bomani Jones on Around the Horn

Posted by GoCarolina8990 on 16 January 2013 - 05:51 PM

Yeah...no, that's not what he was saying. Since he won he got a few seconds to talk about the topic of his choosing, and he voluntarily mentioned the recent $125m Panther tax. He wasn't suggesting moving the Jags or Panthers at all, just saying that as long as there was the threat of a possible move to LA that cities will be willing to pony up to keep their teams at home. Especially those in smaller markets, or as he put it "places you'd never go on your own." He was just being sarcastic with the last part, I didn't find it offensive at all.

He came off as a cock sucker about it. Carolina and Jacksonville aren't even in the same area code, no pun intended.

#2099801 Gun Control: It's about time

Posted by GoCarolina8990 on 16 January 2013 - 12:44 PM

Its bullshit. IDC what anyone says, this is violating the 2nd amendment to the constitution. Its like the old days back in Elementary school, one kid fugs up and the whole class cant go outside for recess for the day. What about the people who don't bring guns into movie theaters or schools?

Sandy Hook in fact could be a hoax, scare the people from themselves. If you think it is absolutely insane to think that innocent kids could be used as sacrificial lambs to push political agendas, think again. Not saying that's what I believe but I believe there is more to it than what we see from the media, which is whatever they want us to see.

Don't forget the start of 2013 not only was the start to a new year, but a NEW age.

#2068727 Things you do not want to see next year.

Posted by GoCarolina8990 on 30 December 2012 - 07:55 PM

We need a new offensive coordinator, no chud.

I don't want to see Louis Murphy running a route in a Carolina uniform ever again either, he is a liability. Too many missed opportunities for our receivers. Had a couple WTF Smith moments today.

So the #1 thing I don't want to see next year is lack of weapons in the pass game, do somethin about it

#2061964 Setting aside the "Newton vs Luck" stuff...

Posted by GoCarolina8990 on 25 December 2012 - 02:08 PM

At first I figured Id hate Luck, be alright with RG3. In reality I actually cheer for Luck, hope he wins RoY and don't like RG3 at all

#2013760 Huge game for the future of the franchise?

Posted by GoCarolina8990 on 24 November 2012 - 04:56 PM

Never going to root for a Panthers loss, though at this point the losses do not sting as bad and can at least look forward to a top pick but I want the Panthers to win out if they can, I just want Cam and the team to find them selves so they can go into next season with something.

#2005879 Cam can do no wrong!

Posted by GoCarolina8990 on 18 November 2012 - 05:04 PM

GTFO if anyone thinks Cam is the reason we lost today they are dumb pieces of poo, COACHING STAFF COACHING STAFF COACHING STAFF my High School coaches sucked dick, and THEY could do better than what we have. This team is fugin bullshit and no one on the team should like what is happening, everyone needs to go. If you arent young and up and coming you are out. Coaches, gone. This team is lacking a head coach, get Cowher in here Id like to see how he would react after this loss. Would he be happy?

#2002651 Peyton Manning Sound FX

Posted by GoCarolina8990 on 16 November 2012 - 09:03 PM

Lol at a GM deciding Cam is not the guy and going in another direction, what? That better not happen, or else we didn't hire the right GM

Some great points in this thread. Cam really may well be suffocated on leadership abilities just because its his pre conceived idea that we already have leaders and if he were to step up and speak out he would be dis respecting his "elders" this very well may be true. A smart GM may cut ties with players such as Smith, Gross and other veterans we are going to hate see go. Cam gets so much poo still its incredible, and that obviously doesn't bother him but something is. Cam is going to stay a Panther his whole career, the dude has great written all over him. If he doesn't that means that our organization as a whole has failed greatly, from the start.
