There's one company that takes expired Hot Pockets washed the meet and repacks it as animal food!

Animal Digest: This is the dry by-product of rendered meat. During rendering, all usable animal parts (including fetal tissues and glandular wastes) are heated in vats and the liquid is separated from the dry meal. This meal is covered with charcoal and labeled "unfit for human consumption" before processing it into pet food. Digest can also include intestines, as well as the contents of those intestines, such as stool, bile, parasites and chemicals.

Animal Fat and Tallow: Animal fat is a "generic" fat source that is most often made up of rendered animal fat, rancid restaurant grease or other oils that are deemed inedible for humans. Tallow is low quality hard white fat that most animals find hard to digest, not to mention the cardiac risks resulting.

Chemical Preservatives: Chemical preservatives include BHA (butylated hydroxyanisole), BHT (butylated hydroxytolulene), propyl gallate, propylene glycol (also used in automotive antifreeze and is suspected of causing red blood cell damage) and ethoxquin , are all potentially cancer causing agents that your pets are eating every day.

Chicken By-products: These are ground parts from poultry carcasses such as feet, heads, feathers, intestines, necks and undeveloped eggs and can included any rendered material.

Corn Products: Corn products including corn meal, gluten and grits are cheap, allergy causing fillers and are very difficult for animals to digest.

Food Fragments: Lower end by-products of the food manufacturing process, examples include wheat bran and brewers rice which are a waste product of the alcohol industry.

Ground Whole Grain Sorghum: The feed value of grain sorghum is similar to corn and is grown primarily as a feed grain for livestock.

Meat and Bone Meal: “Meat” and bone meal are inexpensive sources of animal protein. Note that these companies do not clarify the source of “meat”, nor are they human-grade meat. The protein in Meat meal containing a large amount of processed bone may not be digestible and fail to provide adequate nutrition.

Meat Based: A label that say "meat based" may also include blood vessels, tendons, organs and other parts of the rendered animal. Note again that these companies do not clarify the source of “meat”, nor are they human-grade meat products.

Meat By-products: Pet grade meat by-products consist of organs and parts not desired or not fit for human consumption. This can include organs, bones, blood and fatty tissue. It can also include brains, feet, heads, intestines and any other internal parts. Unbelievably, by-products can also contain cancerous or diseased tissue containing parasites.

Take a look for yourself

Don't let the colorful pictures and wording on these pet food manufacturer’s bags mislead you! How does your pet food ingredients stack up to quality ingredients found in our Holistic/human-grade
Cat foods and Dog foods

It's disgusting what is allowed in our pet's food!

#2445786 Property rights and Easements Question

Posted by charlotte49er on 24 October 2013 - 12:07 PM

You are "servient" and the city is "dominant" when it comes to easements.  You get to enjoy the property (Look at but not build upon, keep up the property (ie" mow & weed.) and use the property (ie: stand on.).  The city retains rights to the property and everything underneath.  Most cities have an easement behind property to erect power/telephone/cable poles or in your case bury drainage pipes.

Easements can very from a few feet on both sides of the property line to 10 sometime 15 feet on both sides.  You can go to your counties GIS and look up your property.  Doing a plot map version instead of a the Google Earth (picture) version.  This usually has the easement on it.

If you do have an easement, then yes, you're screwed.

#2432004 Random Acts of Kindness

Posted by charlotte49er on 17 October 2013 - 11:40 AM

When one mystery diner in a Boston restaurant overheard a mother and daughter get some bad news, he took out a pen and scribbled this note to his waiter: "Do me a favor and bring me their check, too. Someone just got diagnosed. Don't tell them." The waiter, impressed by his customer's act of kindness, posted the note on Reddit — and we're glad he did. (Now we get to have our "faith in humanity restored," too.) The waiter, known as Whiskkas on Reddit, writes that the two women started crying after the daughter received a phone call mid-meal, and that he then combined the two bills as requested. He added: "I waited until the guy left and told them he had taken care of their check, and that he said best wishes, which was what he said to do on the note he wrote me on his second bill. The mother cried even harder, I almost lost it."

How many practice this?

I hate fast food. All of it's is greasy and loaded with salt!  However, every so often, I have to break down and get a couple of Micky D's Filet-o-Fish sammys.  (Maybe once every 6 months.)  Sometimes, I will pay for the car behind me bill.  I just tell the person in the window, "I'll also pay for the car behind me order."  I trust him/her that they won't simply pocket the money and charge them anyway.  (By then, I have driven away.)

In my younger days, when I went to bars to socialize.  I have picked up women's bar tabs or just a round of drinks.  But that really doesn't count as 'RAK'.  It was more to start a conversation.

I used to always give to the Salvation Army's Bell Ringers at Christmas time.  (They are getting scarce the last several years as people complain to the store that used to allow them to set up.  "bell is too loud, they are asking for money,  not to PC, etc.)  Again, I don't look on that as a 'RAK'.  More so as just trying to give back to people less fortunate than I am.

What's your RAK?

#2422892 Minnesota - Land o' lakes and bearded women

Posted by charlotte49er on 11 October 2013 - 06:08 PM

One of the absolute hottest girls I've dated  was from Minnesota. My girlfriend's cousin is from Minnesota, and she's a knock out as well.

I think Minnesota is the state where everyone eats that salted, dried fish jerky. Gross.

Lutefisk is not really fish jerky.  It's fish soaked in Lye!  (Yes Lye!) The smell alone will drive you out of the house!

Lefse is a potato flat bread.  Bland, but can be made edible.

Both are traditional dishes of Norwegian descendants.  (Minnesotans)

I lived in Rochester, MN for almost 6 years before I moved to Charlotte to thaw out. (Snow season runs between mid-October and beginning of May!)  If Memorial Day is sunny, everyone goes out and has a picnic!

There are beautiful women in Minnesota.  (Assuming you like blue eyed Blondes!)

Loni Anderson was a well known model in Minnesota before she hit the big time with WKRP!

There are women with other color of hair, but they weren't born there.  And Yes, there are some women that are "packing"!  :startle:   Oh, and don't expect them to shave during the Winter months!  Thank God they were pants during the Winter.  The sight of hairy legs on a woman is not a good look!  (In my book at least!)

There are 10,000 Lakes, but I swear there are only about 6 fish!  (And they were NEVER in the lake I was in at the time!)

The best thing that Minneapolis/St Paul is known for is Prince.  (The Purple guy.)   He's well known for performing free at local night spots.

St Paul is also known for it's Ice Festival.  (So called because it's a huge celebration & Carnival held in the middle of January!)

People from Minnesota are well known for walking around during football season wearing helmets with horns.  I think they film all the Capital One commercials in Minnesota!

Purple is the official color of Minnesota.  Vikings & U of M.  (University of Minnesota.) Besides purple flowers all over the state, there is such as bird called the Purple Finch and of course the Purple Martin!

Remember the good times.  Take solace in the time you two had together!

That's why there are Wakes.  So family and Friends can come together and rejoice a loved ones life.

There's and old Native American saying.  "A person is not judged by how long he has live.  But how many people were glad he did."

#2406795 Freeman just got the boot

Posted by charlotte49er on 03 October 2013 - 03:15 PM

You would think.

As bad as the Jags are, and there was a report just yesterday that Gabbert was on his way out.  That they'd take a chance on Freeman.  (In fact during the Jags/Colts game they showed a plane carrying a banner, "The Golden Calf of Bristol, How could it hurt?")

I guess the Bucs feel that they can get a back-up QB cheaper than they are paying Freeman.  I wonder what Vinny's doing these days?  LOL

#2406713 Who should play Wonder Woman?

Micaela Schaefer! (yes there are nudes!)

I saw this and it immediately reminded me of the Herb Alpert song.  "Taste of Honey!"

#2323602 Modeling gig 9/14/13 in Charlotte

Posted by charlotte49er on 14 August 2013 - 10:59 PM

I tried twice posting this on here (Lounge) and it bombed out!  :growl:   Then I finally got the post to take over on "Lovely Ladies" (again it took me 2 times).  However, If there are no pics, there is no interest.

I need a young lady (20 to 30 something, NOT A teenager.) to assist me for 4 hours Saturday Sept 14th at Metrolina Expo.

This is the Gold Prospectors Association of America Gold & Treasure Expo.  Doors open Saturday at 10:00AM, she should el should start around 10:00AM then.  (There's also a coin show going on in one of the halls as well. However, I don't think she needs to walk thru there.  Well maybe.)

I'll provide her credentials (sorry guys) soda, food and t-shirt.  (It will be tasteful, this is a family event.)  Female t-shirt Maybe tank top.  No spaghetti straps, or crop tops or something 2 sizes too small.  (maybe 1 size? LOL)

T-shirt will probably read, "Follow me to Gold Rush Guys!", or "I always strike it rich at Gold Rush Guys!" MAYBE, "I score my booty at Gold Rush Guys!"

Pass out promo cards at the entrance, walk thru the crowd maybe every 1/2 hour.  Otherwise, sit at our booth and chat up the guys!  And by 2:00PM (The expo lasts until 5:00PM). she can go home.   Only real requirement is that she looks good in t-shirt and shorts.  (I know VERY chauvinistic!)  But the majority of people there will be men.

So if this is something you want to do, or your Daughter, Wife or Girlfriend, PM me.  I'll check back from time to time.

I will be happy to discuss payment when you PM me. :money:

Thanks, Brian (Formerly Sports Talk)

speaking of tits...here's one more great benefit to being freakishly tall...when you little fellas see a chick sporting some major cleavage, you are looking at it...I'm so damn tall...I'm looking right into it....love me some boobies.

There's also advantages of being in a Wheelchair! (My eyes are 48" off the ground!)

You are always looking up at them! Or at least eye level! :D Great for young things wearing "crop tops"! :drool5:

What? No, I was looking at your breasts. I was looking up at your eyes, your breasts just got in the way!

Kind oflike this:
