Time to cut DeAngelo Williams.

17 February 2015 - 03:53 PM

At least Fox sports says so;

In his brief time as general manager of the Carolina Panthers, Dave Gettleman has left no doubt that running an NFL team should be based on business, not emotion.
He even said as much.
"If you're emotional about your decision, you're going to really do something stupid," Gettleman said.

That attitude has helped Gettleman get the Panthers out of salary cap puirgatory from the previous regime by making players restructure their contracts. Or cut them altogether.

For example: Gettleman played hardball with linebacker Jon Beason, who wound up taking a huge pay cut before ultimately getting traded to the Giants.

Gettleman cut the franchise's all-time leading receiver last year in Steve Smith, and now he needs to do the same to DeAngelo Williams, the club's all-time leading rusher.

I love Williams, but it's ridiculous to pay him that much money at this point.

Your valentines gift, panthers related?

So my wife made out like a fat cat;

I said screw the flowers and chocolate and went all panthers!

2x Panther yoga pants so (I'm the real winner there)
Panther socks (knee high sexy socks!)
Panther booty shorts! (Winner again!)
NFC south champions shirt
And I got me some really cool camo blue shorts (can't not get me anything lol)

So anybody else but their significant other Panther stuff in stead of the traditional crap?

We are soooo bad....

After 3hrs of flipping back and forth between ESPN and NFL channel not one mention of our team or the game today...

Like the raiders, Vikings, insert other crappy team here.

Not that I care, just depressing. Lol.

All the doom and gloom but we are still in the fight!

(Thanks to a shitty division)

But changes have to be made. Something has to give and I expect it to happen today!

Do u think we will hear of anything big today? Or do you think the FO stays the course and this train wreck continues?
