The Cowboys lost to the Redskins at home. We lost to the sorry ass saints and falcons last year.
If the playoffs were the best teams make it then we would have been sitting at home watching. There's no other way to spin that. It's the truth.
The cowboys lost to the redskins when it didn't matter and they won their division. And the falcons and saints had better records than the redskins, who only had 3 wins when they beat the Eagles. The truth is, it's a 16 game season and we won 4 out of our last 4 and we got in, unlike them losing the last 3 out of their last 4. Cowboys btw won out too. Those aren't ifs, that was reality
In a normal year if we posted that record we wouldn't have made it to the playoffs. We in no way deserved to be there and to top it off we probably had the biggest gimme playoff game ever and still almost lost.
The Eagles were a better team then us last year. You can spin it anyway you want but that's the truth
Maybe they should have won their division first instead of choking away 3 out of their last 4. They lost to the redskins.
My god people. Let's clear this Lafell poo up right now. Lafell is a professional football player that gets paid is he not allowed to improve? He's improved every year he's been in the league, but everyone wants to give Brady all the credit.
He averaged 12.8 yards per catch with Cam in 2013 and 12.9 with Brady last year. He had 5 tds with Cam and 7 with Brady. The only difference in the Lafell with Cam and the Lafell with Brady is that Tom Brady throws the damn ball more than Cam giving Lafell more receptions and yardage. Everything else is virtually identical.
He also has Belichick. A consistent winning system and franchise. Hearing Lafell talk about how we practice vs the Pats along with Steve resurgence in Baltimore after it felt like he half-assed his last season here show it's more than Cam, which of course it seems to only become about.
We've been obsessed with having a great D for the last 4 years and we're still not a consistent defense.
Exactly. This team in the playoffs the last 2 seasons made kaep and wilson of all fuging qb's look like peyton manning. Underwhelming players in the secondary as well as that bullshit zone will do that
I will simply say for all the posters now complaining about other posters complaining about the talent or lack of talent surrounding Newton...
I want you to have the same mindset come September when the Panthers are forced to play games in the teens, and when Shula, Rivera, Newton, and the rest of the offense relies on the Defense to lead the way and shut down opponents.
I don't want to see 5 threads heading into Atlanta about how the offense needs to score 30 points,or how Newton needs to do this or that. Or 10 threads after the Houston game about how the offense failed to run out the clock allowing the Texans to win by a FG at the end.
Enough is enough. The same posters rolling their eyes about how it is not okay that we have failed to do anything to upgrade the offense, better be prepared to not create 5000 posts after the Seahawks game about Shula not calling or players not executing the 4th and 15 in the 4th quarter.
Ramsdell did little to nothing and won't be missed. Anyone wonder why he never did anything besides be an quarterback coach his whole career and now he retired. Maybe he had little ambition and his skill level was based on what other folks did around him not what he did. After all he had plenty of chances to be an OC and never did. Seems pretty strange to me. Maybe he retired instead of being let go.
No only thing to wonder is why he's not Cam QB coach instead of Dorsey
