#2826755 Michael Vick on running quarterbacks: I started it all

Posted by micnificent28 on 21 June 2014 - 08:03 PM

I will say this. Vick is the most polarizing and gifted quarterback to enter the league. Now I don't mean to aay hes the best or wven worthy of being mentioned in the breath of manning and elway and so on. But, as far as tools to work with go vick surpasses all before him and after at this point. The speed is that of the fastest ever. Not to mention the guy still could have a top 10 arm. The way he use ro effortlessly flick his wrists and the ball would jump off his arm. The way he made peppers and the crew look bad at times I cant say enuff how amazed I was at the guy.

Dog fighting aside the talent vick pocessed when drafted in 2001, name one other qb ever who had as much upside(cam is next in terms of physical gifts).

#2819610 I played madden 15 at e3. questions?

Posted by micnificent28 on 14 June 2014 - 10:58 AM

Madden has come leaps and bounds but you have the a casual group of people who have had a bad game of madden and write it off. They have been improving in every part of the game slowly but surely.  Take it from someone who has bought and plays madden in tourneys and more than he should. They listen to people take into account peoples ideas who write ahead and let them know what they want in the game on message boards. There are people who care about the game of football who make the game. It's a difficult balancing act to appeal to the causal audience and to the true football heads. It's not 100% arcade or sim but a blend of both.

#2808010 Division Standings Pre-Analysis

Posted by micnificent28 on 03 June 2014 - 05:37 PM

Predicting an 11 win season to a team that lost so much and brought in so little is laughable in my opinion. You can't lose your entire wr core, k/p returner near pro bowl saftey, and startering cb and see only a one game drop off as eveyone else in the division improved.

#2801595 D Hixon tares ACL at Bears OTA

Posted by micnificent28 on 27 May 2014 - 08:48 PM

How could you let your top 4 WRs go?! Gettleman is dumb.

Derp

Edit: good luck Hixon. Thanks for that catch. God speed

But but but gettleman predicted his acl tear so he was smart! Stop it.

#2796481 Do you think Cam will he on the Top 100 Players?

Posted by micnificent28 on 21 May 2014 - 09:44 PM

The real question is if Logan Thomas the TE will be on the list.

Remember this when he is in the playoffs leading the cards as "cam west coast"

#2790645 Is it me or does training camp/preseaon have a lot more dark horse/underdog t...

Posted by micnificent28 on 17 May 2014 - 02:42 AM

Yeah I think he's going to earn one of the tackle position and I'm going to go out on a limb and say the other side will be covered by kugbila.

Think again. As long as Bell Has those pictures from 10 years ago of Richardson whipping midgets in his secret underground bogangles sweat shop Bell is in GOD mode.

This might be one of the most interesting camps i can recall. Everyone knows the big name talent we have and early round picks, but i look forward to seeing The return of gaydosh the Canadian farm beast. Not to mention alex hall another Canadian prospect whom i look forward to seeing push for a spot. I see craig roh is back who played pretty well when i saw him.As many of you know am excited to see Noel devine in  any role for the team if only for the preseason, but with that said there are also people like dorian dickerson former combine standout who couldn't find a role in the league thus far. I have heard good things about darring reaves and  the rookie and philly brown has a shot at making some noise. Not to mention seeing what mcnutt and king can do with more time on the field. Harvey Unga was a decent prospect coming out of college and could suprise at fb. And how could i forget year two of the old "swole bones project".Shawn powell has a nfl leg at punter but i dout he takes the job.

I don't think there has been a more interesting group of cast aways and unproven talent that we have brought in years. Here is to an exciting camp and hopefully good preseason football!

#2784383 Noel Devine: unheralded Phenom could challenge late round backs

Not a lot being said about this kid. I think he has tayvon austin like ability all though I can see issues with him making the due to injuries. He could easily see time on the field on special teams. I like the idea of bring him into camp.

Not sure why my links aren't embeding.. could someone help me out?

Love this kid. Seems like he has his head on the right way humble and soft spoken. The more i watch the more I see freakish potential. Despite what the talking heads say Love the pick.

#2781860 There's no way we're carrying 5 RB's on the 53

Posted by micnificent28 on 12 May 2014 - 01:56 AM

Williams is overpaid, wrong side of the 30.
Stewart is overpaid, wrong side of the 30.

Barner and Gaffney are the future with the same production. Both were outstanding in college, two different types of backs.

It seems stupid now to have geffney, but isn't it frustrating to have so kind much money tied up in RBs? Well my friends, here are your cheap, effective replacements.

Come on man. you don't seriously think backup caliber late round picks=first round like talents do you? Every pick the team drafts aren't franchise saviors.
