#2762911 Most Drafts have us taking OT Morgan Moses in 1st round

I wouldn't oppose. Infact if we go oline I would prefer him over benito and martin personally.

This title reminds me of a comic book title. On a sidenote, we should call our our front 4 plus td and luke the sinister 6.

TD has 2 to 3 years left in him Ryan would be a great move and would lay the foundation at front 7 for many years ... But that's if the big 4 ot/wr isn't there .. But he is impact player that will add element to already dominate defense

Why would we even consider doing this when obviously the pick needs to be ot or wr. Were not in a position to take a luxury pick and draft for 2-3 years down the road were not the seahawks or the 49ers who's teams are already deep. We just gutted the offense period. We don't have extra picks...If we want to win we should not be planning on draft a backup linebacker when klien is fine we drafted on last year. No reason to keep stacking on to already stout positions when the offense is burning in flames. I can't even believe were debating this in a thread.

#2756418 Coach: Protecting Cam top priority

I'm sorry but you must not have any draft knowledge because your statement is very ignorant. If anything this year we fix WR and fix OL next year. Your talking 5 blue chip OL this year compared to 20 to 30 blue chip WRs.

Couldn't agree more and the 5 OL will be off the board before we pick. And then we would be in dangerous when you reach you get screwed range in gettlman terms.

Can we stop this insane talk of drafting players we don't need.

#2751880 According to McShay, We Should Move Up for WR

Posted by micnificent28 on 25 April 2014 - 07:36 PM

What is gettlemans style? So far it seems like a bunch of white bread b.s to me. Dont trade up ignorr your needs cut your number one wr hell cut them all. We dont need wrs to win draft bpa even if its another linebacker. Gettlemane style sounds like not winning to me.

#2750065 Mocking the Panthers 8.0

Posted by micnificent28 on 24 April 2014 - 10:45 AM

Im thinking CB in the first if a projected day 1 starter is still on the board. Fuller is my pick. WR is deep, so unless they really like Adams or latimore, the pick will be CB IMO.

Cam might walk up to the podium and pimp slap gman but whatever I guess.

#2749527 kiper doesn't think panthers should take tackle at 28

Dear god no. Talk about reaching. It's bad enough both of these guys will end up being RTs at the next level.

for once I agree with this guy.

#2749479 kiper doesn't think panthers should take tackle at 28

Posted by micnificent28 on 23 April 2014 - 09:37 PM

In fact, Kiper doesn't see any tackles at 28 that will would be better pick for Panthers than a WR. Mel Kiper says he doesn't see an OT he's excited about for the #Panthers to take with 28th pick.
"In Carolina, receiver has to trump tackle" -- Kiper on Panthers' pick at 28. Per dave newton. And I agree 100%. I want a tackle but sorry the value just isn't there...

#2746088 Donte Moncrief has visited and worked out with Panthers

Posted by micnificent28 on 21 April 2014 - 07:09 PM

Big frame and longer arms provide him a wide catching radius. However, has smaller hands and fights the ball at times. A lot of double catches viewed on tape.  Has a bad habit of allowing the ball into his body especially with underneath routes. At his best catching the ball above his shoulders. Underwhelming finisher in contested jump ball situations considering measureables and leaping ability (39 ½ VJ). Doesn't always time jumps well and has some tightness adjusting to the ball.

Scout's inc on moncreif and my biggest problem with him.

#2745277 Jonathan Jones answers Panthers draft day questions

Posted by micnificent28 on 20 April 2014 - 08:19 PM

I in no way would reach for some tackle who is maybe a 3rd round talent in the first just because there is not so many of them. The logic of people saying we should grab a tackle just because this class is deeper at wr is flawed. Yes you could get a better wr than tackle in the second but, by your own accord you would be doing the almost exact thing your trying to avoid doing at wr but with another position. That's not bpa that's reaching for need. I would not pass on benjamin or cooks in the first so i could grab turner or benito at 28 just because of the need.  Just because a draft is deep doesn't mean that a first round Wr is the exact same talent as a third rounder. Let's not over think this....

It's funny that people knock Benjamin for maybe skipping a private workout but the big story right now is how all these private workouts are really tiring out these prospects. Just something to chew on.

It's amazing the amount of hate Benjamin get's on this board but those say guys will hype u a less productive project like Moncrief...
