You guys talk about not being good or fluid as a team. I remember getting beat 3-0.

FML :(

We spent 4 years feeling that way.

#2964192 You want to get fired up for Sunday night?

You stand and cheer or you get tossed. Only options.

Oh, I've never been thrown out for standing up. I have PSLs and I'm in the same section every game. They complain, but they know what to expect. I will just be trying to get them to get loud, which is near impossible.

This is going to be a tough night for me. My section us full of people who complain when others stand up. So, I'll be fighting two battles.

fug the steelers.

#2964115 Marcus Mariota, Is he any good?

Posted by DirtyMagic97 on Yesterday, 07:19 AM

Because the Bucs gonna be taking him with the number 1 overall pick, lol.

Seriously though, I don't watch college ball. Should we be concerned with him coming to the division with Evans and Jackson catching his passes?

Personally, I think he's the top QB in this draft. Winston may be a more ready now QB, but I think Mariota has a ton of upside. He is 6'4 220lbs. this season. I think his weight in the pros will get over 230lbs, which is still somewhat small. His average 40 time is about 4.5 seconds, but he has run a 4.42 before. His game speed is fast as well.

He has greatly improved his footwork in the pocket and has shown the ability to work through his progressions and look safeties off his targets. He hasn't been asked to throw a ton of pro-level routes yet, but he has done it some. He's a very smart passer and he takes care of the football. He has thrown 0 interceptions this season and has only thrown 10 his entire career.

All-in-all, I think we have every reason to believe Mariota could be a franchise QB for any team that drafts him.

#2963045 UNC @ ECU

Posted by DirtyMagic97 on 18 September 2014 - 03:49 PM

It's a rough go, but the focus is on ECU according to what I've read so far. I swear I don't want to hear any excuses from UNC about overlooking another opponent.

They'd be crazy to overlook this game, and I don't think they are at all. They will come out focused for sure. ECU had better come out focused as well.

If Carden takes care of the football, I don't see anything but a loss for UNC here. Could start a string of 4 consecutive losses for the Heels.

@ECU

@Clemson

vs. VT

@Notre Dame

That's a rough go of it.

Liverpool very lucky to escape with a win. Mario nets in his Liverpool UCL debut. Stevie late penalty saves the day. This team just is not clicking right now.

I'm pretty sure just about anyone who comes here on a daily basis can see this place has potential to be more than "just a message board."

#2936190 Philly Brown

Posted by DirtyMagic97 on 08 September 2014 - 07:05 AM

He also made a nice tackle on special teams as well, I thought he played extremely well considering he was an undrafted rookie playing in his first game.  He didn't make any mistakes, had a nice return, and a nice tackle, what more can you ask for from someone with his role?

Yep. Solomon Patton was looking pretty dangerous at times on special teams and Brown made a big tackle to stop him before he got started.

Juventus is right on the verge of slipping into nothingness. If they didn't play in Serie A they would already be there.

Glen Johnson is a Championship caliber player.

Not the sort of Championship he wants to be associated with though.
