This isnt really a perfect example because if I follow this logic all the way through, you would be saying that someone who shoots 5 free throws all year and makes all 5 of them is better than someone who scored 40 out of 50.
maybe i didnt read all the posts...? thought i had gone back far enough. i haven't seen any circular logic except maybe Grrrbeck: good offense scores points. scoring points is a good offense. we need to look into this deeper than that.
i understand we lost a playoff game which for some means we're bad. that's just your emotion f'ing with you. stats are one way to stay objective.
there are a whole lot of teams that are going to be looking for an upgrade at QB this coming year. the demand is going to be pretty high which makes me think that some teams would be willing to pay a pretty penny for clausen based on potential and "no QB could do well with that team".
sure, and why not, there arent a plethora of promising young QB's out there.
i also agree with something you've said previously: try and move him to get into the 2nd round with a later pick package. but even if you couldnt do this and had to keep jimmy on the roster, i'd be alright with drafting another rookie QB... odds are at least improved that one pick would pan out. and if they are both good, then that's a nice little problem to have. in this case you'd have some serious trade ammo to bolster some other positions.
Beating you guys was a season saver for us. Who said it wasn't? It took us a while to build our team to get where it is today. I guess we could have hired Blake and been winning legit games from the get go.
So what happens when you guys have to forfeit victories? Do you still want to stand by those records?
i stand by what happened on the field.
yeah, i've said before how you wolfpackers define success... so i'm not surprised you considered it a season saver.
i think john blake whipped is Bum with your job offer.
