I mean, why not something like......

Cam Newton unharmed in shooting   or any other way you could possibly fuggin frame that statement that doesn't make it appear our QB is going around shooting up clubs in his spare fuggin time.

Apparently, ESPN thought they should notify all of us that, as of now, Cam is not a person of interest in the shooting!

Thanks ESPN!

Police confirmed that Cam Newton is not a person of interest stemming from a weekend shooting at a club where the Panthers QB was present.

#3255691 Rams release DT Kendall Langford

Every time a player gets released I see one of these threads.  However, I actually believe Langford would be a good pick-up for Carolina and a Gettleman type player.  He is 6'6" 315lb 29 year old DT who was buried behind a lot of talent.  With the emergence of Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers his 6 million cap hit was expendable.

Funny, this story isn't even mentioned on ESPN right now. However, there is a lovely article about Greg Hardy's lawyers not cooperating with the NFL in their investigation.

Bunch of BS

#3202994 RR: OC Shula did a good job at end of the season

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 13 January 2015 - 12:20 PM

I don't know. Seattle, Baltimore, and Giants have similar approach and they have had postseason success.

It is about being effecient. That is all that truly matters

In Baltimore, Kubiak runs a successful stretch-zone run scheme.  Yes, it is designed to run, to set up the pass.  But the philosophy is eventually get large chunk yardage.

In Seattle, Bevelle fluctuates between working off the play-action to capitalize large gains and a traditional West-Coast offense.

Ben McAdoo in New York runs a hybrid west coast scheme and vertical attacking offense. which has not proven very effective.

How would you describe Shula?

#3202955 RR: OC Shula did a good job at end of the season

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 13 January 2015 - 12:07 PM

Shula's philosophy has always evolved around ball control, make no mistakes, pick up 4-5 yards per play, etc.

That is not a successful game plan in today's NFL.  Why are we the only ones who see this!!!

#3200995 Discouraging Stat: Cam/Rivera 0-26 when trailing by 3+ in 4th Q

What's even more mundane, we have never won a single game under Cam/Rivera when trailing at the end of the 4th.
