The fact that Greg Hardy made more than our entire O-line is pretty messed up.

#3111337 regardless of the outcome of this game, Rivera needs to be fired tomorrow.

I want Chud back

#3045407 I am just done with this team.

I think we have all gotten to a point where we say, fug it. I have invested so much, I need to cut my losses. We may lash out verbally or even publicly, but we don't really go anywhere. Not real fans. See you next week

#3044936 Don't panic folks, still ahead of the division!

Who cares ? Not like we could do anything in the playoffs. Our O-line is a complete joke.....

Yes. The circus is over. We get it, the NFL is evil, the media is evil, the mob is evil, the FO is spineless, Hardy took his money and napped, and the team got screwed.

Let's talk about the win this week. CAR - 30  PITT - 27

I think the most F'ed up thing here is the fact that you think the Steel City Sex Offenders are going to put up 27 points on our defense......

You guys wanted the Panthers to be on ESPN, right?!

A man hitting a woman is much different than a man hitting a man. Especially when that man is Greg Hardy. Don't be stupid. I don't believe Greg hit her or did anything wrong honestly. There was no evidence to show that he hurt her. All he did was try to restrain her crazy ass and keep her off of him

No, this stance is wrong.

Violence whether it be man on man, man on woman, woman on man or woman on woman is equally wrong.

#2961162 Panthers Front Office has lost it!

Is punching a guy in a bar any less egregious than hitting a woman?

6 game suspensions for all physical violence or are we being sexiest?

Where does this end?

#2960482 The Greg Hardy thread....for everything Hardy related

So dissapointed in the entire franchise right now

#2952193 Rivera Deactivated Hardy Himself

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 14 September 2014 - 04:02 PM

I saw this breakdown posted on Reddit.  Thought it was a good argument in regards to Hardy's innocence.

Consider the following:

  • Aside from the girl, the only witness attesting to her version of events is a neighbor in the building who admitted she saw nothing and only heard a lot of banging and screaming.

  • The cop on the scene saw nothing and the girl avoided him entirely as she admitted she was carrying cocaine and was both inebriated and doped up at the time.

  • Hardy placed his own 911 call asking for a police response

  • Only days before, Hardy had maneuvered to have the girl's crap taken away form his house by tricking her into going to Miami

  • The friend who came with the girl testified on Hardy's behalf, specifying that the accuser told her that she wanted to get back at Hardy for kicking her out of his place

  • The North Carolina judicial system is a fuged up railroading calamity. The entire reason Hardy was "found guilty" is because to keep poor people from having their rightful jury trials the state forces cases to go through a bench trial first, and then only people who can afford appeals actually get their due process with a jury. THIS IS AGAINST THE CONSTITUTION

  • There's no actual physical evidence of an assault taking place. Bruises can be self-inflicted or caused by engaging in offensive fighting; aside from that, there's no eyewitnesses or video or pictures substantiating the claims in question.

  • The judge in this case is a renowned member of anti-domestic violence organizations, and she could not be trusted to be impartial as she specifically requested to adjudicate the case

  • The judge herself admitted the only reason she found Hardy guilty was because of the testimony of the neighbor who didn't see anything, saying that she had nothing to gain by her actions. SHE DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING.

  • What the girl accused Hardy of ranged from getting her arm stuck in a toilet lid to being thrown onto a bed of assault rifles to getting her arm broken to miraculously her arm is fine and it was really her shoulder that he broke to OK the shoulder's fine, I just have some bruises your honor. . .

Personally, I feel the NFLs stance on domestic violence is sexist

#2936172 QB Trade Speculation (Tin Foil Hats Needed)

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 08 September 2014 - 06:51 AM

Lets look at a couple facts and see what we can make of them.  Feel free to put down your copy of "Catcher and the Rye" and put on your tin foil hat.

The Panthers have 3 QBs on their roster for the first time since I can remember. Makes sense with Cams offseason filled with surgery and rib fractures.

However, with Cam healing from his ailments, that would make a backup QB expendable at this point.  Both DA and J-Webb have proven to be capable back-ups.

The Panthers have been clearing cap space for no apparent reason.

Cam likely could have started week 1, but there may have been some pressure to showcase a back-up QBs talents.  It may not have been the main reason, or a reason at all but, it may have played a role in the decision.

OK, conspiracy mode over, what do you think.  Are the Panthers preparing to trade away one of the back-up QBs?
