"Rape Culture"

11 August 2014 - 03:34 PM

So i've been seeing this "rape culture" term floating around over the last couple months, and i'm not sure what to think of it. The feminists in particular have been slinging it around seemingly more than others, while decrying on those like myself who question it. Maybe i'm na├»ve, but is "rape culture" really a thing? It's been proclaimed that something like half of all women will get raped by the time they finish college. Can this possibly be true? I find this highly unlikely, so much to the point when I first came across this term it had really taken me aback. My natural reaction was that this was just another media ploy to further alienate the public from itself.  Another thing I saw lately that ties into this was an article on men masturbating at woman in public, which they say is something all women have to deal with at least once a year. This is just craziness to me, and I call BS.

What do you guys think?

Calling it right now. Elizabeth Warren will be the DNC nominee in 2016

03 July 2014 - 04:01 PM

So it appears the powers that be have made their selection for who will represent the dems in 2016. I can already see the hype from the media. $10 says Elizabeth Warren wins the nomination.

The Biggest Scam in the History of the World - The US Monetary System

03 July 2014 - 03:54 PM

Wondering how the monetary system really works? Give this video a watch. It explains how a private corporation, the federal reserve bank, controls our government and the country. They've managed to pull off the biggest heist in the history of the world, resulting in a Ponzi scheme of dire consequence. If this system stays in place, it's not a matter of if, but when, everything will come crashing down. It's important we all educate ourselves on this subject, which trumps any of the never-ending, juvenile, republican vs. democrat bickering we constantly see around these parts.

Fukushima is a hopeless situation.

15 June 2014 - 11:04 PM

Fukushima is a hopeless situation at this point, as there is literally nothing that can be done to fix this permanently. 400 tons of water a day is used to keep reactors cool, which then turns into 400 tons of radioactive water that we dont know what to do with. This has been going on for 3 years now, equating to over 476,800 tons and counting. Who knows how much of this has leaked into the ocean. Also, radiation levels are much higher in Japan than their government is leading them to believe. Is Japan destined to be a wasteland? What does this say for the west coast of the United States? This is the single most devastating thing that has ever happened to humanity and the planet. I don't mean to sound the alarm and get everyone in a panic, but this is a reality that we all must be informed on.
