For those of us that can't be there, it gives us a way to follow the action at close to real time. Sure, you have to filter out the bs, but that is still better than waiting until the evening when someone finally gets around to posting a report.
I would be willing to bet that the 1st few days of camp "tweet threads" are very highly viewed.
views range from 6k and as much as 20k. and i know it is definitely appreciated because i usually end up turning off notifications because of the amount of pie received. for whatever reason, it urks me to see that red square and not click on it.
i understand the work involved with trying to observe, shoot pics, and tweet at the same time (it's enough of a pain in the butt to follow twitter and copy and paste to the forum)...but it's obvious the effort is greatly appreciated by a lot of people.
