Gettleman did in 2014-2015 what he couldn't do the year before, resigned our own players while continuing to add based on need. The draft will determine a lot but I wouldn't be surprised if we go deep into the playoffs this season.
But I love surprises! So surprise me by starting fast & not slumping in the middle. Then do the usual what's-becoming-expected outstanding performances in Dec & Jan. Above all, stay healthy!
For you boys who are owned by liquor I'm sure you see "no alcohol" as such a terrible offense to anyone with balls. Too bad. He's a predator and, as far as I'm concerned, has no rights whatsoever. Want to know exactly what he did? Read this: http://www.theneworl...view-inside-the It was premeditated serial rape for years.
Now. Stop looking at this with you putting yourselves in his place (as most men would) and picture, instead, the women he raped as your daughter or sister or wife or mother.
The only thing wrong is that he's not in prison for life now. He will be when he breaks probation. And he's still on the hook in Louisiana. He can't burn hot enough in hell as far as I'm concerned.
No one that plays special teams was mentioned? No wonder they were our weak link last year. Think that'll change this year. I'm so worried that Kalil will pull a Jordan Gross on us and we won't be prepared when he retires.
Am I the only person who really liked what Colin Jones had to offer at the nickel?
I too loved Colin Jones in at nickel. Smartest thing I saw McDermott do last year. Because so often when you have your nickel package in, the offense goes to hurry-up, thinking you've gone small/CB for your nickel back & tries to take advantage of that with runs & options. With Colin in & not being able to sub, we effectively still have 3 LB'rs in to stop those plays and it works really well. He's also fast enough to stay with a slot receiver when he needs to, removing that WR option. I hope they don't mess with this package.
But I'm all for competition at all positions & this sounds like it would be a good signing.
