#3322054 Greatest Fan Base Bracket Battle! We can't fail this one!

Posted by GRWatcher on 14 April 2015 - 11:45 PM

Can we not just be good at bracket battles? It is like the one thing we excel at as a fan base.

Agree.

We -Panthers fan base- are down by 15. Dismal. How can the greatest pro sports city be losing this??

Gettleman did in 2014-2015 what he couldn't do the year before, resigned our own players while continuing to add based on need. The draft will determine a lot but I wouldn't be surprised if we go deep into the playoffs this season.

But I love surprises! So surprise me by starting fast & not slumping in the middle. Then do the usual what's-becoming-expected outstanding performances in Dec & Jan. Above all, stay healthy!

#3319061 Sharper to face "Penile Monitoring"

Posted by GRWatcher on 11 April 2015 - 03:44 PM

For you boys who are owned by liquor I'm sure you see "no alcohol" as such a terrible offense to anyone with balls. Too bad. He's a predator and, as far as I'm concerned, has no rights whatsoever. Want to know exactly what he did? Read this: http://www.theneworl...view-inside-the It was premeditated serial rape for years.

Now. Stop looking at this with you putting yourselves in his place (as most men would) and picture, instead, the women he raped as your daughter or sister or wife or mother.

The only thing wrong is that he's not in prison for life now. He will be when he breaks probation. And he's still on the hook in Louisiana. He can't burn hot enough in hell as far as I'm concerned.

#3314759 Who's in charge?

Posted by GRWatcher on 07 April 2015 - 02:31 PM

No one that plays special teams was mentioned? No wonder they were our weak link last year. Think that'll change this year. I'm so worried that Kalil will pull a Jordan Gross on us and we won't be prepared when he retires.

#3307140 Hot take on Cam Newton

Posted by GRWatcher on 31 March 2015 - 04:13 PM

Funny how a 10 year old can express what many on the Huddle forget about being a fan.

“But I’ll cheer for him because he’s on my favorite football team.”

The offensive line remains an issue, but the team will address it in the draft. As it stands, the Falcons are the most improved team in the division.

C'mon Nippleshorts, just this one time? Please? I promise we won't ever whine and snivel again.

Okay. You lie. This is the Huddle after all.

#3291274 Alan "Blue Balls" Ball leaves Panther offer on table

Posted by GRWatcher on 19 March 2015 - 05:03 PM

Am I the only person who really liked what Colin Jones had to offer at the nickel?

I too loved Colin Jones in at nickel. Smartest thing I saw McDermott do last year. Because so often when you have your nickel package in, the offense goes to hurry-up, thinking you've gone small/CB for your nickel back & tries to take advantage of that with runs & options. With Colin in & not being able to sub, we effectively still have 3 LB'rs in to stop those plays and it works really well. He's also fast enough to stay with a slot receiver when he needs to, removing that WR option. I hope they don't mess with this package.

But I'm all for competition at all positions & this sounds like it would be a good signing.

#3270100 49ers Place Kapernick On Trade Block

Posted by GRWatcher on 09 March 2015 - 02:35 AM

Back in January, 49ers CEO Jed York said quarterback Colin Kaepernick was an unbelievable player that the team needed to put in a better position to make plays. It looks like that position might be elsewhere.

lol The website went down for awhile while I was posting this.

Do we have to call you Mister Montsta now? :bling:

Congrats!

#3265025 Panthers Extend Greg Olsen

Posted by GRWatcher on 05 March 2015 - 09:55 PM

Charlotte loves Olsen as much as he loves Charlotte. Great move. I was so disappointed when we didn't get a chance to draft him.

I can see him as a future GM, he's smarter than most of them now. He'll learn from Gettleman, you watch.

Can Greg play LT?

lol I think he basically does each time he's lined up on the left next to Bell. :D
