We won't stray too far from the game plan but there has to be some more designed plays to get us down field. This would be a perfect break out game for Ted Ginn or even a redzone TD to Brandon Williams while everyone else draws the coverage.
Funny. That is what our starting TE has been doing all year. It works. But hell, let's sit Olsen and get B Williams to do it. That will surprise everyone.
I heartily agree it is TD that can make a difference in this game. However, it is Kuechly that offenses game plan for. He sets it up for TD & Hardy & Johnson & Star & Edwards & Mitchell, etc to be able to make all those plays. It was a total mind game between Brady & Kuechly and Kuechly won. Capernick just isn't that smart and that is what will win the game for us.
I was also watching NFL network talk about the game. They opened with San Francisco and the panthers and immediately began talking about Seattle and San Francisco playing. It's really pathetic and sad when Heath Evans is the voice of reason. He spoke of how weak the Packers defense was.
I rarely get as worked up as I did watching this. I was screaming at the tv. According to them, Panthers and Saints may as well lay down right now and just give up. Don't even dress. They're not talking about either of us, so we don't stand a chance.
lol I'll bet Heath Evans is hoping for a Panthers/Saints championship game. Thumbs up for that!
Yeah, IMO Harbaugh did it on purpose. And it's not about a washed up wrestler who started this speech talking about women (sleaze that he is). Nor is it about swag. Football players are about consistency, habits. This is an attempt to get the Panthers, coaches included, to question their habits, to wreck their concentration this week.
Too bad that it won't work. Panthers only do it when they win. 49'rs are the next game up, our next win.
Stadium personnel need to trash it during the game, don't play it. I'd rather it all stays as it has been. Until we win. Then play it. Loud. In the visitor locker room.
I remember the last time we had a playoff game against Philly. I'm sure they do too. I hope so. The build up to that game was unbelievable. The Panthers even became part of skits on SNL with the "Who the hell are the Panthers?" questions out of Philly. Let them live their dreams for another few days.
