#2666081 Gross is INDEED retiring

Posted by KillerKat on 25 February 2014 - 05:26 PM

Your making it sound dire than what it is. We actually need only 1 CB with Melvin White playing good as he did for a undrafted rookie. He has the size and to play outside and with a season under his belt he should improve significantly. We have Captain to play the slot that leaves us to draft 1CB to play opposite of White.  We also have a good combo at SS & FS with Mitchell and Lester.  The WR situation isn't bad since we can address it with the deep class of WR in this year draft. We have Smith to play slot and resign GInn & Hixon for depth. We can draft a WR from rounds 1-3 that would be a starter (Allen is a 3rd round pick for Chargers)  Benjamin, Mathews, OBJ, Moncrief, .....   We can pick a solid run blocking TE like Arthur Lynch in the 4th round while addressing  OT with either 1-3 round picks and use FA to pick up a LT.

None of our CBs are starting material.

#2664804 Raiders' LT, Veldheer, may become an option if Gross leaves

If there is 1 position you want to spend money on besides QB, it's LT. We shouldn't dumpster dive for Cam's protection.

Ah yes the combine. The most over rated event in all of sports.

#2662051 Does anybody else think Nate Chandler can develop into a starting OTHERS?

No. He is a backup.

We should be going after Rice and Maclin if they are reasonable.

If you can see that the N word has racially charged motives behind it. Would it be a far fetched that the idea exists for a politically correct way to say it in code? Oh well we will just say he's a "thug". Which really you only apply to minorities not just black people in this day and age. Its not that hard to see really. The info is all around you.Just like when you talk about black coaches. Everyone refers to them as "class act" Tony Dungy Lovie Smith oh he's a class act. I don't think you ever refer to ron rivera or any other non-black person that way. Code words. You may not notice them  see things for they are because you may not be a miniority to notice the diffrence.

I hear "class act" applied to everyone. Don't know what you're talking about there.

#2657539 Panthers possibly 28 million under the cap

Posted by KillerKat on 18 February 2014 - 10:14 PM

I've spent all offseason hearing we have 11-12 mil cap space and a Hardy tag would take 10-12 mil. Now we're at 28 mil? Can someone smarter than me explain what is going on? *mindblown*

Only person that can explain our situation is Gettleman and he doesn't have an account here....yet.

This salary cap stuff.....

They might was well say we are $800 bajillion under. It never seems to matter.

This is why I laugh at Huddlers trying to tell others how much cap space we have and what we can and cannot do with it. Nobody knows poo.
