#3242781 All-time worst Panther starters?

Posted by PantherBoy95 on 15 February 2015 - 02:51 PM

Haruki Nakumara
Olindo Mare
Olindo Mare
Olindo Mare
Olindo Mare
(never been so pissed at a Panther before)
Charles Godfrey specifically at CB (I don't really blame him for being out of place though)

I won't down Clausen, he was thrown into a horrific situation, I don't see how people are so blind to that point. He was pretty horrible though.

#3234622 Report: Panthers Not Expected To Bring Back Hardy

Posted by PantherBoy95 on 08 February 2015 - 01:04 PM

It never had anything to do with the outcome of the trial. I don't know how many ways I can explain that to people.

I'm guessing you won't want to explain it again, but please do in short at the very least.

Hypothetically
The worst thing he did was place himself in the position. However if there is one thing I've learned in all my years dealing with women...

Spoiler

Other than that the only true incident I recall him having is the obvious motorcycle situation.  Anything else is reaching for a reason.   If he's proven guilty fine literally Release the Krakken it is understood.  If found innocent however, how can you punish a guy for something he did not do?

*Or were you saying that it has to do with salary/he wouldn't have been here even if the case never happened.....in which case I typed all of the above for nothing smh

No. Just No.

#3219735 Gordon fails another drug test

Posted by PantherBoy95 on 25 January 2015 - 03:54 PM

lol It's funny I think we at the huddle are starting to get like Beat writers trying to break a story. *I say that because I saw it 30 seconds after it dropped and somehow you beat me to it.

Anywho well he's not really throwing his life away, at this point his salary has been that of which many could only DREAM of.  If he lives within his means he'll be more than well off and set for the rest of his life. Now his career...down the drain.

A few weeks ago ppl were talking about either him or J. Blackmon coming here and I was on the side of giving people 3rd and 4th chances lol....good thing I'm only a GM in Madden.

#3213810 2014 Panthers Highlight Video

Posted by PantherBoy95 on 19 January 2015 - 07:52 PM

This whole season I've just thought about how great Kelvin would be if Muhsin could coach him up and show him how to run routes, use his size to his advantage, and just truly pick his brain.

#3213806 2014 Panthers Highlight Video

Posted by PantherBoy95 on 19 January 2015 - 07:51 PM

Jeez that was a great highlight.
This season was crazy, in a few highlights they are of guys that weren't even on the roster/starting at season's end (Including DA). That shows how much the team changed.
Kelvin Benjamin will be a MONSTER with another weapon on the other side/ running game to take attention away.
PLEASE WORK OUT WITH MUHSIN OR ANOTHER BIG BODY (Larry Fitzgerald) FOR THE OFFSEASON.

#3213769 Wilson & Luck

Posted by PantherBoy95 on 19 January 2015 - 07:33 PM

Oh man

That's easy to say and as I said understandable from another fan base. I am talking about his pure athleticism and ability to completely take over a game, his amazing energy and marketable smile when off court (Gatorade, Signature Shoes etc. Ring a bell?).

Anyone that has seen what Cam is CAPABLE of doing can tell you it is not far fetched. His talent has the potential to make him one of the greatest of all time.  However football is a FULL team sport, where Jordan could basically control every facet Cam only plays 1 of the 3 phases of the game.

Many outside will not agree and understandably so.  However I truly believe given the appropriate supporting cast, Cameron Jerrell Newton can be the Michael Jordan of football.

#3211924 If Cam threw 4 interceptions in a game...

Posted by PantherBoy95 on 18 January 2015 - 08:11 PM

Dude, it was Cam's job to catch those 3rd down conversions his receivers dropped.

It was also his job to rush the passer and contain Russell Wilson.

And to defend the Seattle WRs who caught the parabolic lobs of Russell Wilson for TDs.

ALL CAM'S FAULT.

Haha Parabolic is the exact way I would describe these passes.

Credit where it is due.

But there is absolutely ZERO way a receiver should have caught that 2pt Conv. this week, or his TD pass over Tre Boston last week.

Oh well we're at home now. Sucks

#3210243 The NFC Championship Game Thread....

Posted by PantherBoy95 on 18 January 2015 - 04:04 PM

Seattle was 8/8 on third downs that game. While I'd like to put all the blame on him, it's very hard to win games when your defense is giving up play after plays.

Exactly lol when the other teams mediocre WR's are catching one handed Hail Maries in stride, along with complete pop up jump balls it's hard to blame the OC. Esp. when they come on 3rd down.

Rather it be Pats vs Pack.
Luck already gets enough love.
Brady already has his legacy cemented who really cares at this point

#3209498 Ravens tell Smith to take a little time out

Posted by PantherBoy95 on 18 January 2015 - 02:39 AM

I wanted to read more about the Lafell article that was brought up

“It’s meant everything for me, man. He’s a guy that I looked up to on and off the field,” LaFell said. “He’s a great family guy. He’s a great individual. He’s one of the great receivers to ever play this game. As a rookie coming in, to be around a guy like that and see the way he worked on the field each and every day at practice, man, it was ridiculous.

Then in a game, Smith was constantly talking. If he saw certain trends from a defensive back or secondary, he would pull LaFell aside and talk to him about the adjustments he had to make.

http://www.providenc...e-smith-sr..ece

I get annoyed by everyone acting as if they were inside of the locker room.  I've seen Smith speaking to young WR's on the sideline, correcting them in a normal fashion. To act as if we know Steve in and out as a person/mentor is ludicrous.

#3208383 My 2014 season movie

Posted by PantherBoy95 on 16 January 2015 - 09:11 PM

Ahhh man, when I saw it was a 32 minute video I was ready to get out the popcorn.  Appreciate the effort nonetheless....really, I'm sure that definitely took time to compile.

Pie for you my good man.

#3198838 Julius Peppers

Posted by PantherBoy95 on 11 January 2015 - 07:38 PM

i always root for peppers and fox to win when the Panthers are out. Steve Smith on the other hand, couldn't have cheered harder for the Patriots yesterday.

see I know Steve talked his trash. But he gave so much more than those guys. He talked the way he did after leaving because if the way he left. It was clear he still wanted to be here it honestly was like being a bitter ex that wants to still be with the person that dumped you

#3198705 Julius Peppers

Posted by PantherBoy95 on 11 January 2015 - 07:11 PM

Don't really care. He's not Steve where he gave this org all that he had and got pushed out the door. He gave a few great years of his prime and then split. He had his chance in CHI, don't care about anything after that.  Would rather see the Packers or Broncos win than anyone else though...but Peppers has 0 to do with that.
