Since when is everyone so against autographs? Autographs are fine to get, no matter what age you are. What matters is the manner in which you do it. I wouldn't childishly run up to Kuechly at a restaurant asking for one, but I would if possible in the right fashion I would get one. They are just tokens of remembrance.
Actually that's the biggest disappointment for me. Cam actually REALLY wants the cover. Twice he's done a CAMpaign and advertised that he's actually a big gamer. Unlike the nonchalant guy that ends up beating him. I want him to get it next year but it would look like he got it via pity. Hopefully he DOMINATES the National Football League in its entirety next season.
I agree with the OP; when a player leaves of THAT magnitude no way can I view them as "just another player". I want Steve to do well, very well. With that, that means that I would essentially want the Ravens to do well IF ONLY to see Steve go far. I hope that we can meet them in the Super Bowl and smash their dreams. However, I hate the Ravens as any other team. I just refuse to let the fact that we released him for reasons I still don't agree with, deter me from all of the times I said "Smith deserves the best." Now....he just deserves the second best.
As you all have stated Panthers fan first, but there is an attachment that you gain after seeing these players grow along with yourself. Any true fan can't deny that.
He'll benefit greatly from our front seven. I know you could say that just about anyone but I like Cason because he isn't afraid to get physical and can by the front 7 an extra second or two. Also like his length and ball skills.
Hopefully we sign these guys who are under 30 to multi year deals so we aren't stuck signing a butt load of FA's every year.
Glad he wasn't black saying this, I could already see where this thread would head. However the comment was ignorant none the less, white does not automatically equate to un- athletic i.e. The Golden Calf of Bristol and Andrew Luck.
