In Topic: WR's than run 4.5 or slower

So what were Jarrett's problems that aren't easily repeatable by benjamin?

my understanding were that they were primarily alcohol and focus.  Not to say those aren't repeatable by benjamin but it's not exactly the same thing.

DWAYNE JARRETT 4.62

you know it wasn't jarrett's speed that was the problem.

Kraken deserves every bit if that money too. He got paid like 3 mil last season and that should be taken into consideration.

He hasn't slacked of on a play since he got here and brings the right type of energy without taking penalties.

He's only 25 trimming years old and will be getting 15+ sacks every year for the next 8 seasons as long as he stays healthy, making the pro bowl or all-pro team every one of those years. HOF lock of he does that and you'll be kicking yourself in the teeth every time we have to play against him. Just hearing the name "kraken"' will make you sick to your stomachs and every other fan base in the NFL will turn the phrase "release the Kraken" into a running joke about our franchise and fan base.

I ain't down with that. Sorry.

what's up greg hardy.

The roster move was a weird one. How much better can this scrub be than Armanti? (serious question), because AE was probably average for a #5 WR. Now we have a new guy in here whom we have to pay (so we didn't save much if any towards the cap) and he has to learn our entire system.

The only point I see is to make a statement, light a fire perhaps....

also, keep in mind that atlanta was going to be out looking for a reciever too... if gettleman liked mcnutt and suspected ATL did too that would be enough reason to go ahead and get it done... get a guy we liked a little more than a guy we had and deprive a rival of someone we viewed as talented...

just spitballing.

In Topic: Levi Brown out (AZ LT)

02 October 2013 - 05:02 PM

I'll post the same thing that I did in the gameday thread...

Levi Brown has been terrible. He had an abysmal start to the season. I don't think it's going to be much of a downgrade, even if his backup is an UDFA. Against Levi Brown in week one, Robert Quinn posted three sacks, three QB pressures, three QB hits, two forced fumbles, and drew one holding call on Brown. I was looking forward to facing him.

this.  levi brown was legitimately one of the worst tackles in football the last few years.  the backup might be worse, but i wouldn't be surprised if he's not.
