Cam has better W/L playoff ratio than Matt Ryan

04 January 2015 - 05:33 PM

So tired of reading about Cam's playoff record but its always been there.  I think its a big deal for him to get past this.  What is nice about it is how fast he did it.  He has a way to get to Breeze obviously, but we all have this in the mean time :)

I do so enjoy a post-mortem view from the opponent fan's perspective.

Panthers will support RFID tags in shoulder pads, real-time player position data

These teams are participating this season:

Atlanta, Baltimore, Carolina, Chicago, Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit, Green Bay, Houston, Jacksonville, Miami, New England, New Orleans, Oakland, San Francisco, St. Louis, and Washington

Teams will not be given access during the game for competition reasons, but think of all the in-game app trackers and statistics.  Some info from the article:

For the football nerd, it's a bonanza of sorts, possibly changing fantasy football and morning-after box scores forever. Zebra said the technology, known as "Next Gen Stats," will track player acceleration rates, top speed, length of runs, and even how much separation a ball carrier got from a defender. It's not just a Pandora's box of stats for fans and broadcasters, as coaches can immediately employ the data to decide what plays to run or how to defend them.

A bit of news on D-Jax

For what its worth, pft (pronounced "pffft-whatevs") posted an article early this morning on the situation

It’s become an open secret that the Eagles want to trade receiver DeSean Jackson.  Starting Sunday, it’ll be much easier for them to try to make a deal.

On that day, the league’s movers and shakers temporarily will relocate to Orlando for the annual league meetings, and it will be seamless and organic for trade discussions to occur.

The Patriots, 49ers, and Jets are among the teams believed to be interested in Jackson.

We are no longer mentioned as having interest
