#2867077 Hardy talks......

Posted by Pox 08 on 27 July 2014 - 10:01 PM

For all of the white knights coming forward saying the onus is completely on a man in these situations, i find their takes to be reflective of a lack of life experience.

A man's responsibility is to NEVER lay his hands on a woman. That being said, if they're dealing with an unstable, antagonistic, violent woman, how do they approach that once they're already locked into a situation? The easy solution is to walk away or call the cops. But, Hardy called the cops, with there being no proof that he hit this woman he had previously tried to distance himself from, and he still comes out of it a "woman beater."

Ray Rice has no excuse and is a piece of crap. He was in a public place and had the opportunity to walk away. I don't buy that as being a mistake.

But, when alone, in a private setting, there is no way to escape some sort of problem, either through imposed physical altercation or accusations. Some women use the principle of men never being able to hit a woman to their advantage by physically assaulting a man, knowing he can't do anything back. If it's me, I still walk away and call the cops. But, that's if they let you... what if she stands in front of the door and blocks your exit? What if she starts throwing stuff at you while doing so? If a man physically, but gently, grabs her by the arms and moves her enough so he can exit, she can now say he physically assualted her. But, none of what she did matters... and now that guy has to live with that label, whether guilty or not, the rest of his life.

That's garbage.

I've never had to deal with any of those issues, thank God, but it happens far more often than it is acknowledged. But, if we view a man as a victim, he becomes weak, so men don't want to call the cops...

Now, there are dirtbag men out there who hit women regardless of whether they are provoked or unprovoked, and they are filth. They should be prosecuted to the fullest. There is no excuse for a "man" like that. But, I get tired of seeing women completely exonerated of any wrongdoing when a story like Hardy's breaks, when in reality, she used public perception and the guise of domestic violence to exploit him. That is equally disgusting.

A man can apparently only defend himself and his house against other men.  If it's a woman trying to wreck his house and injure him...........then he must let it happen and pray to god that either she gets tired and leaves or he can run away before she does any serious harm to him.

It is BS.              Women know right from wrong.  Just like men should know right from wrong.    I don't care about gender...if a person is an adult then they should act like it.  Do not hit someone unless you want them to hit you back.   The fact that there is a double standard between the genders when it comes to right and wrong,  is disgusting.

#2860819 Greg Olsen Tweet....

Posted by Pox 08 on 22 July 2014 - 09:21 AM

It is annoying listening to all the asshats on ESPN and NFLN talk with 100% confidence that all of our WRs are going to crash and burn this season.

The worst thing that can happen is - Olsen is our #1 receiver this year.      Like he was last year.

Bye bye,  to the end of an era.

#2857724 Ashley Fox - Hardy Situation Trumps Others

punishing him now and then the jury rules in his favor that the coked out, drunk chick was the one attacking, and Hardy was defending himself/trying to restrain her.......would also give the NFL a "bad image".

#2855003 Saints TE Watson 'not worried' about the Panthers

Posted by Pox 08 on 17 July 2014 - 04:14 AM

The one thing about the Panthers that we can count on,  more or less,  over the last decade or so..

when a team calls us out,  when another team disrespects us so bluntly.......... our guys normally up their game a great deal and bust the trash talking team right in their freaking mouth.

#2854029 Hardy found guilty

Posted by Pox 08 on 16 July 2014 - 12:08 PM

Hardy might be fuggin up to ask for a jury trial.  If he is convicted there he could get anywhere from 150 days to a year jail time.  And it will look even worse on his record having been essentially convicted twice.

I think it's an extremely small chance a jury finds him guilty.       I believe they'll see a guy trying to defend himself from a coked up,  drunk woman that refused to leave his place.

Why do folks here keep putting themselves in the same situation as a player as if it is at all comparable.  If you fiance is bigger than you then  that is not analogous to Hardy who is 6'4" and 290.  So anything you say after that is irrelevant.

If you hang out with rough woman then whose fault is that?  You deserve what you get then.. I make it a general rule not to hang out with aggressive mentally unstable woman who can kick my butt.  So do you apparently, so again I don't see any of your post is relevant to his situation.

Wouldn't the girl be at fault for hanging out with rough guys, also?

Do you view women as a simple gender not responsible for any actions they may take?

I think Hardy has a sit down with the Big Cat,  soon.  We will see what happens after that.

Also think a jury declares him innocent.

#2850467 Cam is the most overrated player in the NFL

;)  They still mad that the Panthers swooped in the took the division from them last season.

#2850462 Cam is the most overrated player in the NFL

Posted by Pox 08 on 14 July 2014 - 04:59 PM

Anyone that makes a list of overrated players and does not have Luck as #1,  can't be taken seriously.

Cam isn't considered an elite qb... he's not even considered a great qb by a lot of sports media.        Have to generally be rated extremely high in order to be overrated.

Luck is considered up there with Rodgers, Brees, Peyton and Brady,  by a lot of sports media.

I thought this was going to be about Star Jones and her opinions about The View.

212ft long, 63ft high = 13,356 sq ft?     Puts us in the top 11 biggest video boards in the world list?  Third biggest in the NFL after Jacksonville and Reliant?

since #10 is Reliant Stadium with 14,548 sq feet.

#11 is Meydan Racecourse with 12,708 sq feet.

#2840789 Josh Gordon arrested again.....

Posted by Pox 08 on 05 July 2014 - 06:03 PM

Gordon flipping off cops while holding a big bag of weed up to the window as he speeds down the road. I bet.

A lot of players smoke weed ,  but my god,  Gordon is a complete retard when it comes to covering it up.

I can't believe they're complaining about Rodgers at 11...

Sent from my SCH-R970 using CarolinaHuddle mobile app

Well...  When healthy,  Rodgers is better than Brees, Brady and normal Peyton (not the Super Peyton we saw last year).

#2838485 Cam ranked smack dab in the middle of QBs according to some league insiders

Posted by Pox 08 on 02 July 2014 - 07:23 PM

I do laugh a little at all the hype surrounding Luck.    For a qb with amazing footwork and has just the best football mind since Peyton Manning,  you would think the kid would be more accurate than a qb like Cam... A guy,  based on arm,  is middle of the pack.
