No doubt that Spurrier has definitely helped us more then he's hurt us, but he's just baffling this year with how he's handling end of game situations and how he didn't have a plan in place to address the defense.
Ward, our DC, at minimum needs to go, and Spurrier needs to stop ignoring those great running backs.
That said, I hope Tennessee can finally get back to what they once were. I have no idea how or why its taken them so long to find a decent coach. I know you guys won yesterday but I'm not convinced UT's coach is the right guy for the job either. He almost got into a physical altercation with one of his staff members yesterday.
Anyone is better then Florida or Georgia.
I think it's clear that Phillip Fulmer put some kind of a hex on the program as he was leaving.
Butch may not be the next Nick Saban, but I think he'll get us back to an 8 win program. That will keep folks happy for a few years since we're getting used to not even going to a bowl game.
What's funny is the 8 win seasons are what got Fulmer fired.
The Baby Vols looked good tonight, please all I am asking for is to make a bowl.
The Vols looked really good last night. It was so nice to see a little speed on this team. Someone has got to beat out Justin Coleman, though. He makes Teddy Gaines look like a world-beater.
I don't know where that sixth win will come from, but I think Butch will find it.
I'd like to see a highlight video with something like Toad the Wet Sprocket or Dave Matthews Band. If a safety can pump you up while you're listening to Crash Into Me, then you know he's the real deal.
Gotta go with Cam. My in-laws have a pool, and that's where we'll be cooking out on the 4th. He seems goofy and kid-like enough that he'd enjoy swimming with my kids for the hours and hours they'll want to be in there.
