I feel Gettleman has done a good job so far, considering the mess that he inherited. I believe he has the necessarry traits to be a good GM going forward and will build us a team capable of making the playoffs every year. Meanwhile,I am anxious to see how he does locking up Cam and Luke, long term..
Really looking forward to hearing Ron next season admit he might of made a mistake not sticking with 28. We can all have a good laugh/cry together
I can see Ron saying > " We went with what we thought gave us the best chance to win. " "After reviewing the game film, we determined that De Angleo's numerous fumble's and negative yardage was caused by various breakdowns in personel,we have to learn from this and move on".
When Johnny went down today everyone in the stands laughed. I instantly felt bad about it then proceed to explain to my wife how we shouldn't do that but at the same time it seemed appropriate. Anyone else there today and felt as dirty as me but then again...not?
Also everyone cheered once Hoyer came in to replace him. We weren't cheering Hoyer I don't think but instead cheering Manpurse going out.
the cheering noise was made by Panthers and Browns fans alike. A few cheered because it was a good hit, some cheered when Manziel was able to walk off without serious injury, some browns fans cheered when Hoyer went into the game,so it wasn't that we were like Saints fans, cheering the fact someone got injured.
There were Browns fans cheering because they wanted Hoyer to play. It was just a very few select Panthers fans that i saw or heard doing it. I do agree with Cam that it is classless to cheer when a player is injuried.
the kid makes plays. last week a shoe string tackle away from a punt return td. today a shoestring tackle away from a punt return td. a beautiful catch to set up our go ahead touchdown!!! proud of the kid.
poo I'd be pissed too. I really hope he does succeed far far away from here. Never wanted him because I never thought he'd be good but he kept his head down and his mouth shut and took his lumps here like a real pro. Never let the poo situation he was put in show on his face.
Jimmy Clausen was put in a bad situation that was way over his head at the time. I agree that he didn't have NFL starting QB qualities but he never complained or pointed fingers, that i had to admire.
There is a rumour that the Falcons current head coach,Mike Smith's services will no longer be needed after this season. I would like to suggest you hire Mike Shula,Carolina Panthers present offensive coordinator . I feel sure i can get you a long list of Panthers fans that will endorse his detailed resume.
