Yes, I'm quite sure everyone has accepted the fact that he has appealed *key word* to have his case heard by a jury. What that does not do is change the verdict of his original case unless he can successfully appeal. It was never my point that Hardy was out of legal options, only that as it currently stands he is a guilty man.
The Jury verdict WILL override the bench trial's verdict. So now having said that, he is innocent until the jury trial proves he is guilty BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT. Which is something the prosecutors cannot prove. Why don't you look up the Judge that presided over the bench trial. She has a hard-on for these types of cases and likes to make examples out of people. Which would be why she gave this girl all day to show up to the court room after she continuously failed to appear. Any other "Judge" would have thrown the case out then and there.
You obviously didn't follow the trial by the way you are posting.
Right now you just come off as someone who read about the ending of a movie on IMDB and want to discuss the details when you haven't a clue.
