120-90 in favor of Miami and I'm going high for the cats.

Long shot, but here is my ideal starting 5..

PG: Kemba Walker
SG: PJ Hairston
SF: Carmelo Anthony
PF: Cody Zeller
C: Big Al

That lineup can score for sure, but where's the p&R defense coming from? We'd definitely see a bunch of 100-110 games that end in losses.

It's probably a 45-50 win team that would get beat in the playoffs when defense ramps up.

Plus melo would play the 4 if he came here just because of the p&r defense

"Nobody on the planet can guard him." -Paul Pierce

LeBron would get eaten alive by Big Al. There's a reason he didn't guard him one single possession all season long. If he guarded him the entire game Al would drop 40 & 20 on him.

Parker-

season- 20 ppg (48%) 2 rpg 5 apg
Finals- 16 ppg (43%) 2 rpg 7 apg

Yeah, he really shut him down! Not to mention Parker was hurt during the Finals.

Never said he shut down Parker, but he was effective against him and limited the P&r effectiveness of SA the last few games.

I understand the system. But that defensive specialist STILL needs to be somewhat of an offensive threat. Otherwise, they are playing 5 against 4 when we are on offense.

MKG needs to develop at least a marginal offensive game.

. My phone posted a half way done post, I was getting at the fact that it doesn't mean the player has to be completely limited offensively, but still be a defensive stopper.

Hopefully MKG can fix his shot an develop a reliable jumpshot .

I understand what you are saying. But, it is very difficult to give minutes to a strong defenisive player that is so inept on the offensive end.

It is one thing to be a defensive specialist, but you can be only that and get big minutes.

The system is built around having a fast agile defensive specialist on the floor to protect Jefferson in p&r situations. Doesn't have to be a player limited offensively, but they would need to be a defensive stopper first and foremost.

Either that or the system would need to be changed to accommodate for that while still hiding Jefferson on Defense. Defensive stopper would still have to be on the floor but could be at the 2 or 4 instead.
