I don't think there's any chance he's back at all after this season. 2 factors

Type of money he's asking for, plus the continuous off field actions.

Not gonna blame him for taking $1mil over one year of free tuition. Plus, he's doing it for personal reason.

I was really hoping to see SMU thrive in the upcoming season tho.

He wasn't ever going to get cleared and stayed cleared by the NCAA. They were investigating him and his eligibility, so he decided not to even try college and take the risk.
In his own words "he was worried about his amateurism eligibility and the NCAA looking into it."

No after Lance, but if you read through the article, he later says the Hornets are one of three teams with shockingly realistic chances at the east crown.

Ummm.... How so?

The first year of Indy's offer started at like 7.6 m, then went to like 8.4 in year two. Third year team option is for about 600k more then year 3 of the Indy deal. He'll make like 2-3 mil more over these three years plus be in range for a massive pay day.

So the league average is 15... and players averages over an 18.0 PER when going against Irving. That's got to be worrisome.

Use net per.

Player Per- opposing per= net.

Kryie' net is 1.94

Kemba's net is 1.1

A difference of .84 a game.

The difference between the two is slight with stats.

Dragic's opp per is 12 and he has no one behind him to protect the rim.
