#1161699 Panthers' Smith has cleared out locker, sui

Posted by SPANKY on 25 April 2011 - 06:58 PM

Smitty is one of a kind. I've been watching pro football a long, long time and you'll never see a guy with his talent, heart, and pure will to be the best. And make no mistake he is one of the best WR's to ever touch the football. If he's really gone I hope the FO will not make the same mistake twice, learn from it, correct it. We should've been looking for a QB when Jake went down with the elbow injury. If/when I see him in another uniform, I'll wonder why Hurney still has a job, fuggin asswipe.

I'll never feel the same about ham, thank's. Don't want to know how you found that pic Fourtysixand2. Can we leave ham and cheese loaf, and roast beef out of this please?

#1158451 Does Greg Hardy get the starting role?

Posted by SPANKY on 23 April 2011 - 04:17 PM

I did'nt really watch Peppers so I can't say much. But what I saw out of Johnson made me glad we drafted him. But I think Johnson can be that good in time, with the right guy's on the line with him. Johnson's atttitude is also a big plus for him, I think he's known to be unselfish and a team guy. I also heard he was one of the strongest guy's in the locker room.

#1157225 Clausen stopped listening to coaches

But CRA,2008 was a much different team that 2010. Just because play's worked for the 08 team, won't mean thay can just give the same play's to a much different team in 2010 and expect the same result. The 2008 team had lot's of vet player's the 2010 team did'nt have.

If Jimmy really did stop listening to Fox and co. , maybe he's got more upstair's than I thought. That said, his chance to play for a coaching staff not on the way out could be history. Can't say I blame him for not listening to rip, Davidson, and fox.

#1152481 1 week out from draft, a fearless prediction

Bold and fearless Highlandfire, one more week and we'll all get our awnser. If your right, the huddle will light up like a roman candle.

#1150103 Kaepernick more athletic than Newton?

Posted by SPANKY on 19 April 2011 - 03:16 PM

The fisrt time I mentioned Kaepernick on here I was laughed at in several post's. I'am not saying he's the next Montana but he could be a starter one day.

#1135553 I do not want Newton, Do you?

MHS831 your right on the money there, calling people racist because they don't think Cam is the awnser is pathetic. And threat's, funny!

Hey Ashor, I want Taylor Swift. Wonder how she would transition from the cowgirl to the face down ass up position?

#1124340 If the team passes on...

Posted by SPANKY on 02 April 2011 - 05:26 PM

I hope everyone we draft has a great career with us, always will. Some pan out and some bust. But when were fresh off a 2-14 season, and hold the #1 pick, we all understand how important this pick and draft really is to this team. I can only expect so much out of rookie's, don't think one will come in and win a superbowl year 1. I want to see any player in a Panther uniform do well, I'll stand behind anyone we draft, but I'll keep my expectation's down to earth.

#1114953 So this is why the players are suing to get more money.

Both need to share the blame for this BULLSH*T!

#1110293 Yasinskas Speculation: "Real Chance" Smith is Traded

Posted by SPANKY on 25 March 2011 - 01:50 PM

Smith has done so much for this team over the year's, it would be sad if we loose him on top of the fact that the 2010 season was flushed down the toilet. Some people think he's washed up, lost a step, too old ect.ect. I suppose the fact that he had rookie a QB, and was flanked by rookie WR's had nothing to do with his rough year. What about Fox and Davidson? My 12 year old could've called better play's than Davidson. But none of those thing's has anything to do with it...sure. I don't blame Smith if he want's a chance at winning a superbowl, I sometime's wonder if the FO remember's that's the goal for an NFL football team. Our FO is too busy lowering payroll, and pushing for a lockout.

#1101923 what would be a successful 2011 season for you?

Posted by SPANKY on 20 March 2011 - 08:16 PM

We need a QB to step up, and a impact player at DT. I think Charles Johnson will be fine at pass rush and Hardy could suprise a few people. I hope Otah is ready, he certainly should be. And if Smith stay's, he'll be fine. Don't know about Dwill but I hope he's a Panther next season. I will never think we are as bad as the Lions, NEVER, the Panthers have accomplished more since 96 than the lions have in............well a long damn time, fug the Lions!!

#1101402 what would be a successful 2011 season for you?

Posted by SPANKY on 20 March 2011 - 11:30 AM

6-10, 7-9, Anything more would be a huge bonus. At six win's that would triple our win's from last season, I'd be happy with that much improvement.
