#3294673 Panthers talk to Greg Jennings

Posted by rainwater on 22 March 2015 - 02:34 PM

Jennings is the same guy that was taking shots at Aaron Rodgers through the media.

Steve Smith took plenty of shots at the Panthers since he left.  Guess what?  I'm still glad he was here.

#3263684 QB pay transitioning?

With 4 time SB winner Tom Brady being middle of the pack as far as QB play

Can I have what you are smoking?

#3252274 Deangelo Still a Panther?

Posted by rainwater on 24 February 2015 - 07:02 AM

I saw the same thing last night. Espn says dwill was released, another article said no.

Is there an official NFL transactions transcript or record that's public info somewhere?

He will be released officially on 3/10 so they can designate him a June 1st cut.  But clearly because he a such a veteran, they told him beforehand so he would not be blindsided.

#3235647 Hardy Case Dismissed

I wonder what the players think about management/ownership now.

Hopefully they think they should probably think again before getting involved in domestic violence.

#3235646 Hardy Case Dismissed

NFL doesn't owe him an apology, the NFL owes the panthers organization an apology.

No they don't.  Hardy reaches a settlement with the accuser and she magically disappears so the case can't move forward.  Hardy was hardly exonerated.

Because we wasted 13 million dollars in cap space last season on a guy who shouldn't have been suspended.

The prosecution dropping the cast doesn't mean he shouldn't have been suspended.  It is laughable that people actually think the NFL or Panthers owe him an apology.

This organization has screwed the pooch big time! Our season might've turned out differently if he was on the field

How is this the fault of the Panthers organization?  They did nothing wrong.  The NFL dictated what happened to Greg.

#3182474 Should we be the North Carolina Panthers? Map says yes

Posted by rainwater on 06 January 2015 - 10:33 AM

Without SC (and Clemson) there would be no first season of the Panthers so I think they still count.

#3180025 Sure, we can shut down Larry Fitzgerald and Julio Jones

Posted by rainwater on 05 January 2015 - 09:42 AM

The difference is Seattle has a QB who will run around to extend the play.  When that happens, it is hard to expect Bene and Norman to stay on their man for that length of time.  Atlanta and Arizona didn't have mobile QBs.  The key will be containing Wilson not the wide receivers.

#3162665 The game is on Saturday at 4:35pm

Don't home games always run on a local station?

Yes, WSOC is showing the game Saturday.

Weird that nowadays the playoff games are on a cable channel. What the hell happened to the days of 4, 6, and 10 or FOX? Stations that everyone gets. Just another example of the money grubbing illuminati NFL.

I miss the 80's and 90's, in a sense

What happened is cable networks paying for the rights.  If you live in the Charlotte market, the game will also be shown on a local network so there are no worries for those fans.

#3152062 Oh no, it is gonna happen

Posted by rainwater on 24 December 2014 - 11:27 AM

How could he had been the starter (unless in name only), when he was always hurt so much? :startle:

I do get your point and drift though?

Well, JStew has played in 73 games since the 2009 season began and DWill has played in 72.

#3137385 Rivera: Cam's injury can get worse if he gets hit

Posted by rainwater on 15 December 2014 - 01:47 PM

Why would Rivera volunteer that information? Hey Ron, why don't you just give our playbook to the browns? You put Cam at risk with that statement. Lot of dirty players in the league. Not very smart Ron

Yeah, because if Ron didn't say that, no one would realize an injured player getting hit on that injury would make it worse.  I mean, wow Ron!  How dare you give out this kind of secret info!!!!

#3126771 Cam Involved in serious car wreck, reportedly uninjured

Posted by rainwater on 09 December 2014 - 01:18 PM

33,561 people died in traffic accidents in 2012.  How many of those people did you pray for?

More than a few unfortunately.

Yes, because wallowing in pity is the way things should be, right? I forgot the internet is serious business.

Getting in an accident is serious business.
