#3367654 Shoutout to the Falcons..

Posted by Wyank on 15 May 2015 - 12:44 PM

I seriously have no idea why this is funny.

The twitter speak weirds me out.

Guess Orwell was spot on with newspeak...

Why the original tweet was funny?

Falcons.   Busted for pumping in crowd noise?  Bose being a company dealing with audio?

Bose laughing at Falcons expense along with Panther fans.

I must have missed the starter quality LT signing. I'm fine with either.

#3289964 NFL files lawsuit against Mecklenburg County for Hardy evidence

Guys. Wake up. Not our problem.

Kind of is. Our compensation draft pick depends on the money he makes this year. The amount of money he makes depends on the amount of games he plays. Amount of games he plays depends on this topic.

#3289546 Colts propose 'bonus field goal'

Posted by Wyank on 18 March 2015 - 02:02 PM

Does it have to go through clean or can it tip over? Like a basketball rolling off the rim into the goal?

Actually it would make scoring sense. 6+2+1=10

It does?

"And if you make the 50 yarder, you get to go for another 2 pt try.  And if you make that you get to go for a hail mary to add another 6 pts.  Then the process repeats itself.  poo I just dropped my coke.  Wait. The mic isn't still live right?  I'd like that part of the interview taken out. "

#3282283 Saints trading WR Kenny Stills to Miami

Posted by Wyank on 13 March 2015 - 11:56 AM

Mike Wallace, Kenny Stills, Jarvis Landry and Jordan Cameron... Well done Miami

Kenny Stills would've been perfect here.

There's no way Saints would have traded Stills here.  I wouldn't give a division rival anything but locker room cancers and trash on the field.

Smoke screen.

God I hope it's a smoke screen.

#3246647 Colin Kaepernick Has Twitter Rage

Posted by Wyank on 19 February 2015 - 02:27 PM

Battman did not reply. I am sure any other who was thinking similarly will think twice before they tweet.

I think the not replying made it even better.  He only needed one tweet while Kaep needed multiple and still looked like a douche afterwards.

#3219634 Deflate-Gate: Patriots Being Investigated For Deflated Footballs

Posted by Wyank on 25 January 2015 - 12:57 PM

Good point....they didn't distinguish between the Colts balls being deflated and deflated below the allowable limit.

I would have hoped the NFL would have squashed this thing right away if this would have been the case.

Colts measured legal but showed same rate of psi lost as the Patriots balls that measured below NFL standards.

I think the NFL would have been happy to end this right away if that was the case.

#3215568 So tell me

Posted by Wyank on 21 January 2015 - 10:14 AM

lots of good comments and I sincerely thank you for keeping it civil

biased of course, but I think the 12th man thing is one hell of a marketing idea on one hand...but for those of that have been fans for many of years, I think it's also a really cool thing that the team did for the fans etc.

I simply don't believe that extra noise gets pumped in...but I could be wrong I guess...but I've never seen or heard evidence of it happening.

I see it more like this...they hype up the noise so much on a regular basis that it almost becomes like a challenge every game to maintain that level or increase it...if that makes sense? I also honestly think that the team and staff truly buy into the homefield advantage and the 12th man and I feel it's with sincerity when they give the fans their accolades.

I also think Wilson is the real deal. Is he surrounded by all sorts of high power receivers...not at all. Yes Lynch makes a huge difference and he benefits from the defense obviously, but he has this trust about him that at any given time, he's just going to take over and make things happen. I also don't think he's fake...I think what you see is what you get. I know many players are huge in their communities and Wilson falls into this too. Every Tuesday for example he is at the Seattle Children's hospital...and it's not to make an appearance...he's there visiting and encouraging the kids etc...he's never made it feel like he's there for a check in the box or for himself etc.

You get civil comments because you're a respected poster here just with bad taste in teams.  :P

If you were a fan of a team that just beat us and signed up for the forum after the game to ask this question, you would probably get some fug off replies.

#3215240 So tell me

I like everything but Russell Wilson. Feels like I'm listening to a lying politician when he talks. I like his agility and ability to get out of pass rush. Loved seeing him getting his clock cleaned in Green Bay game. His passes make me cringe more than Cam's do on an off day. Usually his receivers find a way to bail him out or be completely open. Think his success will be short lived.
