#3249293 A mid round prospect I've fallen in love with

Posted by Bj-Monster23 on 22 February 2015 - 08:41 AM

Justin Hardy could be a steal for the Panthers. I know he might not go on the first but he will definitely be in play in the second or third round. His is only question mark is his top end speed. He was very productive at ECU. I would love to get him in the third round if possible.

It's too early to tell. Dave Gettleman philosophy is to use free agency to setup the draft. He will most likely go into free agency and shop bargains and try to feel areas of need there. When the draft rolls around, he wants the team in a position to take best player available regardless. It doesn't matter if we have the luxury at the position or not. The best player on the board the Panthers will be drafting.

#3248003 Gurley denying Knee examination at Combine.

If Gurley doesn't let teams check out his knee then he still might be having some complications trying to recover. I'm not a doctor so I can't tell you what that means or when he will ever be healthy. I'm pulling for Gurley though because he is from my hometown. In the end, I wouldn't be upset if he falls into the second or third round and the Panthers have a shot at him.

Kevin Johnson reminds me a lot of Joe Haden. He wouldn't be a bad pick at 25 in my opinion.

Breshad Perriman looks like a really good WR.

#3242108 Ill tell you something about Greg Hardy

I support this thread. Keeping Greg is very vital

I agree it is vital to keep Greg Hardy in Carolina. But I believe it's on him to clean up his mistakes and apologize to his teammates, coaches, fans, and Mr. Richardson. If he starts by doing these things that will show he has empathy for the situation. Also it will give the team a reason to want to bring him back.

Or you do it the Giant's method and horde pass rushing Defensive Ends not giving opposing QBs time to rip you to shreds.

This is the only reason the Giants didn't have to have a elite secondary to win. They had D linemans coming out of the ying to get after Brady. Unless Gettleman is going to build the Panthers like that he can't afford to let Hardy walk. He is also going to have to bring in more Defensive lineman who can rush the passer.

#3214016 TarheelBlazer's 7 Round "Seattle Slayer" Mock Draft

I love the Peters and Flowers pick. I expect Flowers stock to rises as the draft season starts to get into full swing. I love the Marcus Peters pick the dude can ball and has top 15 talent. I can see Gettleman taking a chance with him because we still need help in the secondary and Peters has the ability to take away half of the field. If you don't agree with me look at the two teams who are going to the Super Bowl and look at their secondary. The Seahawks and Patriots both have elite corners on the outside that make a impact. Norman and Peters in our secondary makes our defense better.

The point that matters is the kid has great potential. He a very big, fast, and strong WR that has the potential to make the big play. In my opinion base off looking at our WR corp we need the help and he is definitely a upgrade over Bersin and Cotchery. Give him a nice team friendly 1 yr or 2 yr deal around 300,000 and if it doesn't work we can easily cut him.

Anyone know anything about Kevin Johnson??? Some have him in the 1st.

Seen very little of him. Think he's a little soft.

I believe he played at Wake Forest right? I haven't had the time to watch a couple of highlights on him but he could be a good player. Personally I'm all in on the Peters train the dude can cover!

We are a elite Safety or CB away from having a shut down defense. On offense we have to get some speed at WR and Oline help. This offseason should be interesting.

Some CFL highlights.

Big Plays all over the field. He would be dynamic in our offense.
