Jason Bourne.

16 September 2014 - 08:45 PM

EXCLUSIVE: Jason Bourne is coming back. Universal Pictures has begun making deals with Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass to reunite for their third film in The Bourne Identity series, sources tell me. This is an absolute stunner — and Universal would not comment nor would the reps — because Greengrass told Deadline as recently as last year that once Bourne regained his memory, there was no place else for the character to go creatively. His search formed the spine for the trilogy Damon starred in.

Hopefully this time the rumor is true. I didn't think the Bourne legacy was bad but not as good as the first three.

Blade Runner 2

Also said the script for prometheus 2 is done. That move might need a sequel just to fill in the plotholes of the first film.

Director Ridley Scott still plans on making Blade Runner 2 -- hopefully with Harrison Ford -- and it may be his follow-up to his very next movie, The Martian.

Scott praised the draft by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green during a chat with Entertainment Weekly. "It’s written and it’s damn good,” said Scott. “Of course it involves Harrison, who is a survivor after all these years—despite the accident (a joking reference to Ford's Star Wars injury). So yes, that will happen.”

The tick

31 August 2014 - 12:21 AM

I'm having 80s and 90s flashbacks.

Amazon is said to be interested in reviving The Tick, the unabashedly costumed crimefighter played by Patrick Warburton (Seinfeld, Rules of Engagement), a source tells People.com.

believe it or not… The Greatest American Hero is poised to fight another day.

According to our sister site Deadline, Fox has given a put pilot order (i.e. virtually guaranteed to air) to a remake of the unlikely superhero series, which ran for three seasons on ABC in the early 1980s

It was only 1 minute and 48 seconds, it was only computer-generated test footage, but it was definitely Deadpool — and it was definitely Ryan Reynolds' voice breaking the fourth wall.

Created some time ago by Culver City-based Blur Studios for 20th Century Fox, the clip leaked online curiously close to the end of Comic-Con

The high-res version has since been released(NSFW)

I imagine the positive reception is catching Fox studios attention..
