I started the First Law series after your recommendation and am about half way through the first book. I'm liking it a lot so far. I'm looking forward to getting further into it to find out some back stories of characters, Fenris the Feared is badass.
I thought this episode was good. I'm so glad that they FINALLY had an Oberyn scene where he wasn't banging something and also mentioned his daughters. I also loved his line "I can't say that name without getting sad, and after I get sad... I get angry."
Fug that, if these people have been convicted and it is without a dought them that did it then kill them rough. What's cruel and unusual can be dissected one way or another. If he or she is a murder/rapist the let him/her die a horrible painful death, I see nothing cruel or unusual about sending a diving terrible person to a terrible death.

I don't think the argument here is whether or not people feel empathy for the murderer, it's whether or not what happened can be construed as cruel and unusual punishment. That's specifically prohibited in the Constitution. The Constitution doesn't prohibit cruel and unusual punishments except in the cases of rape and murder, it prohibits all cruel and unusual punishment. It's pretty obvious that what happened in the case is cruel and unusual, whether or not I think the convicted man deserved it or not.
If the death penalty is going to continue, the government offices carrying out the sentences need to find a better way to do it besides buying whatever lethal combination of drugs they can find and hoping for the best.
Has anyone else played the DLC they just released for this, The Last of Us: Left Behind?
I finished it yesterday. It's a pretty steep $15 for only 2 hours or so of game play, but it was the same quality of the original game so I think it was worth it. I found it pretty challenging and the story was great. You only play as Ellie and it flips back and forth between two different timelines, one before the original game and one when Ellie was saving Joel after he got impaled during their escape from the University of Colorado.
Worth it IMO, but it really only adds a couple hours to the story without much else. They've said it's their last planned single player DLC.
If you get a big refund, then you've basically just allowed the government to hold onto your money throughout the year. If you don't get a big refund, it just means you got a little more money in your paycheck throughout the year because less income tax is withheld from it.
Are you saying that people shouldn't be mad about this, and they're only mad because blacks are doing it?
I'm all for putting whoever does this in jail for life if it results in death. You're a clear detriment to society, are too stupid to be allowed to roam the streets, and aren't deserving of the freedoms you have.
