just because vick has been forgiven doesnt change the fact, that hes a POS. the guy has been sued repeatedly for refusing to wear a rubber and spreading herpes to MULTIPLE women. hes a real stand up guy.
why not just rebuild your corps and take advantage of available talent that will be here for longer? we can add a couple vet Wrs who are good and young and draft a couple. we aren't limited in our options.
i see the re- building at WR, that i thought was coming last offseason in full swing.
and if Smitty is gone. getting a couple vets ,IS A MUST. we would be in awful shape. got to have vets to teach the rookies/king mcnutt.
Wasn't Chandler initially switched to tackle from DT, then played guard out of necessity? I wonder if he may go back to tackle?
yeah, he was Gross' backup heading into the season. he gave up zero QB pressures during preseason. hes nimble and athletic. seems to be better suited at LT imo. he still did a good job at G considering the transition.
i dont see teams offering him a 4-5 year contract. atleast not, well ran teams. Nicks injury history and productions should be huge red flags for any team. only way i see him getting one, is if its a small guaranteed amount and heavily insentive based.
Smittys decine started last season. yes, he had nearly 1,200 yards, but you could see he wasnt the same. hell it was like week 7 or 8 before he even scored a TD. his role also changed in the '12 season. they used him in more short routes than normal. they had too, to put him in a position to be more productive. I hope hes around this year in a role similar to the one Prohel had in '03. IF hes gone we'll for sure need a vet or 2 to cover his play. and a couple rooks
