referring to the photo in the parking lot above. Some guys will do anything to get their girlfriends to appreciate a football game. She will always have happy memories of this game, at least until she finds out that her picture has been plastered all over the internet. Either way win win, he will be able to go to they games with just the fellas from now on!

she!? Looks like a lil downtown, browntown bromance to me... :startle:

#3137121 And the highest rated tackle over the past 2 games is...

Posted by La Pantera on 15 December 2014 - 11:34 AM

we should not bet that he will be this solid for years to come.. we gambled on Nate Chandler because he played pretty well last year.. that didnt turn out too well

Chandler played G last year. not the same as playing T. His play from last season couldnt be used as a precusor to his play this year.

#3136282 Big Frank Eligible To Return Tomorrow

Posted by La Pantera on 14 December 2014 - 09:50 PM

He likely wont start, but it should def help the rotation. if we can get more pressure on the QB ,we could come close to looking like last years D.

SIDE NOTE, whos spot does he take? Horton...?

#3135832 If the Panthers make the Playoffs...

if you don't want your team to make the playoffs, you're a pretty sh!tty fan. And if its only because of the staff or draft position...well you're even sh!ttier.

#3125494 Opinions on Mario Addison and Ealy

Posted by La Pantera on 08 December 2014 - 04:43 PM

Addison is a edge rusher, with little room for growth.

Ealy looks like he has the potential to be a starting cal. DE.

My real concern ( and no one talks about it) is that CJ will be cut because of the amount of money he'll be owed.

we were pretty weak this season at DE. and we could be worse next year if somethings not done.

#3117460 So, Greg's Twitter is really him.

Posted by La Pantera on 03 December 2014 - 07:24 PM

I like how everyone with zero responsibility and accountability to the situation acts like they would resign him if they were in Gettleman's shoes. Mainly because they either haven't thought it through or aren't capable.

Let's say they sign Greg Hardy to big money and a month later he gets a dui or worse, which is more than possible at this point given his inability to surround himself with the right people or make the right choices, what then?

Oh, that's right, everyone here would blast gettleman for resigning him when there were huge red flags that should have been seen.

It's easy to make choices when it's not your job or checkbook on the line. I don't blame the Panthers one bit for not believing Greg's issues are behind him. They clearly aren't.

this is the reason I don't think he gets a huge contract anywhere.

#3114152 Sporting News projects that Rivera will be fired on Black Monday (Dec 29)

Posted by La Pantera on 01 December 2014 - 06:41 PM

Marty Hurney tried to be the Steelers and build entirely through the draft and reward drafted players with big contracts. It had some success, but failed at the end.

Gettleman is a like early Hurney, minus the big contracts, except he's convinced that everyone is replaceable and believes the answer is on the roster. It's mostly failed and it will continue to fail.

How has it "mostly failed"???? It worked last year and didn't this year...

Not too many GMs could've done better with the money that was available.

#3098966 Who to blame for Panthers' last ranked D

Posted by La Pantera on 20 November 2014 - 06:54 PM

Zero passrush, exposes a weak secondary. Stephen Hawking could make plays with the pocket our D allows.

#2993176 Panthers have 3 healthy DE left ..street signing time

Posted by La Pantera on 01 October 2014 - 05:37 PM

Coples had 5.5 sacks his rookie year. That's better than both Hardy and CJ their rookie year, and is better than most rookie years on average. So far he has a sack and a forced fumble with the Jets this year, but we all know his natural position is DE. I'm telling yall based on the numbers, this could be another Greg Olsen steal of a trade.

With all that said, who else is worthy of bringing in to help this D-line? Continue to suck up front, or bring in a potentially good talent for a 3rd or 4th round draft pick in a year we will get multiple compensatory 3rd and 4th round picks. This is an easy decision to make people.

Do you really see the Jets trading a former 1st Rd pick, 20 Gamez into his career? Let alone for a 3rd-4th Rd pick!?
