This will bring crap loads to A&e and duck dynasty....for all you who cried "OUTRAGE, OUTRAGE,OUTRAGE"...do you all feel any responsability for something that shouldnt have been a big deal in the first place?..or you all just going to move on and pretend you all did the "right thing" and let the gay community take the pie in the face?

#2539972 Should the Washington Redskins change their name?

Posted by Katweiser on 10 December 2013 - 02:10 PM

May get bashed a little, but I dont think there is another race in the world as arrogant as the white race.  No other race seems to act like they know whats best for other cultures.  I bet you that 99.99% of those making a stink about this are white people trying to feel good about themselves and are willing to drag a whole culture into their drama regardless of what said culture feels about the issue. One day, the redskins name will be changed, then they will champion themselves like they are the protectors of the native american culture, because natives cant do it alone...only the almighty white man can!!....All while the whole time....they never cared in the first place.....

#2513367 Anyone Else A Retard Texter?

Posted by Katweiser on 25 November 2013 - 03:52 PM

Ive done things like that. I almost feel like an expert at sending texts that get taken wrong to girls.  Biggest thing Ive learned....Stay away from sarcasm  while texting!!...Stay far away it or anything closely related to sarcasim!!...Every once in awhile, the humor of sarcasm works, but for every one that works, ten will fail miserably....for me anyways.

Im not the holy roller several of you suggest with your posts, nor am I anti gay marriage. I dont know where any of that came from but to suggest it is disengenuous, or utter BS at best. I am a firm believer in science, and I understand exactly where you all are coming from. I cant provide proof of a here after or life after death so I can not pretend to know better without comming across as some holier than thou A-hole. ..The same goes the other way...Science does not know what happens after death. They know as far as what they can observe about it, anything beyond that is theory. Many scientists may agree that theres nothing else after death, but they have no proof, nor does anyone else. Its an unknown so it comes down to belief no matter which side of the fence your on. you believe or you dont. When anyone on either side starts to claim that their view is better than the other, then thats when the "holier than thou" crap comes in and starts to come in and start effing things up for people, any proponent of gay marriage will tell you. If you really want to be "superior" to believers, how about not stepping in the same steps other religions have...namely the "I know better than you, there for Im better than you" attitudes. You dont believe in life after death, Im unsure...Im not better than you, nor are you better than me. Agreed?

Your pinning the wrong person on this...no problems with same sex marriage. My post in here are directed to those who oppose faith and call it stupid, unfounded, and nonintellectual. dont make it something else.

#2433704 "We invented Jesus"

Easy. My belief about when we die is that we are simply dead. Gone. No afterlife. No consciousness. Nothingness. Pretty much exactly like we were before our births. All information we have about our mortality as well as the mortality of all other forms of life points to this being the most likely scenario. Since this is based on the best information available at the moment, and since it makes the absolute most sense of all the popular beliefs about what happens when we die, that makes it less ignorant. The afterlife idea of the bible needs to be demonstrated as being true, otherwise it is just a ridiculous assertion with less basis in truth and more basis in emotional comfort.

What you are saying is still a belief. Yes its based on the info we have, but how do you know we have ALL the info? We find out new and amazing things all the time through science.  Theres nothing wrong or ignorant for people to believe or have faith there's an afterlife. To say so is similar to saying we know everything and theres nothing left to learn. Thats a little ignorant in itself right? You may be right that there is nothing, but that cant be proven anymore than saying there may just be something else after we die. Be a heaven and hell, reincarnation or what have you.....

#2403606 Seymour Hersh: Not ONE word of Osama Bin Laden raid is true.

Posted by Katweiser on 30 September 2013 - 01:16 PM

I think we killed Bin Laden, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were lies about how it happened in order to cover up some sort of international controversy or worse.  I mean it was pretty fishy too me that they wouldn't show the pics and then threw him in the ocean some place.  Something was off about it all.....

#2399516 Why do you believe in God?

Posted by Katweiser on 25 September 2013 - 02:31 PM

I guess it goes deeper than I thought. I thought it was simply

Agnostic; God? who knows? maybe there is maybe their isnt...

Athiest: God? not a chance..

#2399497 Why do you believe in God?

Posted by Katweiser on 25 September 2013 - 02:10 PM

If anything Science and atheists usually go hand in hand....

Wouldnt they be more agnostic? I dont know that they are,  but given that they tend base their ideas on knowledge and hard facts, they would. I mean atheists believe there is no god and hold it as fact.  In science, the only fact here would be that there is no evidence to support a god of any kind, so its still a relative unknown.  ala agnostic

#2260521 Drinking Age Presentation

Posted by Katweiser on 18 June 2013 - 10:13 AM

I always wondered there's a maturity level that goes with the alcohol buzz itself and not so much the age. The first couple of years a person drinks, its all new to them, they over do it and its pretty chaotic.  After a few years, most people get used to the buzz, know whats good and bad about it, and control it better than what they did from the start.  Basically, they become a little more wiser with the alcohol experience. If you wise up earlier in life with drinking, you may make better decisions with when how much to drink.  If thats true, then maybe things will be better lowering the age to 16, and raising the age to 18 to be able to drive a car....
