Look at the article... other GMs are quick to point out his deficiencies. I'm hopeful that with Cliff doing the same that the Hornets realize that they either need to pay Kemba his market value or let him walk. If you overpay, you end up with Hendo on your roster and you can't move them.
Should have drafted a PG in the first instead of another SG. Kemba has a lot of positives but his negatives put the ceiling for this team around 50 wins. Another PG on the roster would have either hurt his negotiating position or shown the hornets they can do better and allow kemba to walk.
Hendo is just overpaid relative to his level of play. He does do some things well. But his weaknesses are also the same as those in the 1-3 spots for the hornets, so he just further exacerbates the problems the hornets have with outside shooting.
Outside of McRoberts, the entire starting lineup is intact with some more additions, and the role players and bench warmers lost are being replaced with younger, higher-upside guys.
Agree with that.
My point was that I see many on this board claiming that kemba and Zeller are going to improve and that's going to win us some games--which I agree with. But same could be said for the young players in WAS.
