FanSpeak Mock Draft...you will never guess who fell to us at #25

03 April 2015 - 09:56 PM

I know there has been plenty of these posts up with these"mock drafts" but I was bored and figured I would post mine. A lot of value in mine I believe and a surprising 1st round pick.

Round 1 - Pick 25: WR Kevin White, West Virginia

Round 2 - Pick 57: CB Kevin Johnson, Wake Forest

Round 3 - Pick 89: RB Tevin Coleman, Indiana

Round 4 - Pick 124: DE/OLB Trey Flowers, Arkansas

Round 5 - Pick 161: FS Kurtis Drummond, Michigan St.

Round 5 - Pick 169: QB Sean Mannion, Oregon St.

Round 5 - Pick 174: G Josue Matias, Florida St.

Round 6 - Pick 201: OT Tyrus Thompson, Oklahoma

Round 7 - Pick 242: OLB Mike Hull, Penn St.

I could live with this on draft day and be perfectly happy with it. Hell, if White fell to us at 25, Gettleman could trade all his picks for a pair of Marty Hurney's dirty underwear and I'd call the draft a win.

I highly doubt Matias will be there in the 5th as he has a 3-4 round draft grade but it would be nice to have another big body on the line with great technique.

Super Bowl or BUST

28 December 2014 - 08:31 PM

Let's face it.. it's Super Bowl or bust for these Panthers. Anything less is inexcusable considering they just cost themselves at least 11 draft spots. A first or second round exit will not go over well here knowing it was all for nothing and lost out on a top 10 draft pick.

Custom Panthers Shirts?

27 November 2014 - 10:40 PM

Not sure if "custom" is the correct word choice, but I was wondering if there are any dedicated sites for Panthers fans where they have t-shirts independently made and aren't sold in stores?

Here is an example of a site I'm looking for, but Panthers related:

Noticed something yesterday on the sidelines

27 October 2014 - 07:37 PM

Maybe I'm just blind, but they showed McDermott on the sidelines yesterday. Isn't he usually up in the booth calling plays? It's the first I've noticed it all year and it happens to be the game our defense has played it's best.

Maybe they should bring Shula down and actually interact with the offense. Might do everyone some good.
