#2956470 Eagles @ Colts Game Thread: (1-0) - (0-1)

Except it never hits them in their hands where it should. When the receiver dives around, leaps up, or reaches behind to tip the ball that isn't their fault. Foles has looked like complete garbage tonight. He's had ALL DAY to throw from the pocket and he can't find open receivers. And his accuracy is beyond bad. He makes a lot of poor decisions throwing into coverage, too.

I must agree. But he's playing against a QB that isn't that much better, despite the hype. Maybe that is why he looks good to me.

No but ESPN actually had pre-roll footage of it to go along with their commentary.

Seriously, have they done any positive commentary on the Eagles as yet? All I keep hearing is endless tongue bathing of the Colts.

And Foles is a much better long ball thrower than Luck.

Sad to say this but the Eagles are making the Colts look good. Can't believe that guy couldn't hold onto that ball. Would have been a great INT. Honestly surprised the Eagles are playing this bad. This feels like Mike Vick ERA style playing.

Also, surprised the Refs didn't give the Chosen one that Down. Instead the Colts have to settle for a field goal...SMH

So far it seems the Refs are helping the Colts. SMH

Gruden and Tirico literally spent 5 minutes discussing and dissecting how great Luck's voice is, yes his freaking voice.

Glad I missed that one.

I wonder if they joined his fan club as yet...SMH

#2956336 Yahoo Sports: Is Cam Most Underrated QB?

Posted by footballisasport on 15 September 2014 - 09:10 PM

I'm just gonna say. He's not white and some folks in the media have a problem with it.

As much as I hate to feel this way. I honestly am starting to believe this, even with many of the Panther fans.

Case in point: When a positive article on Cam appears, barely anyone has much to say or when they do it's the usual BS they regurgitate from the media. But when there is a BS article like the one last week, about what Cam called Suh, the haters come out of the woodworks. Even on the Carolina Panthers FB site.

Still waiting for the media to make much about Luck's helmet slamming. Not a peep from the Luck worshiping media. And we all know the only reason why Colin and RG isn't being scrutinized is because they are not in Cam's league but they media will never admit it.

#2952823 Cam presser. Apologises for Donkey Kong gate

Posted by footballisasport on 14 September 2014 - 06:35 PM

Why? Because when you insult someone (even in jest) in this day and age, and the media makes a big deal about it, you have to apologize. Simple as that. Sadly, Social Media runs the world. Get used to the change.

what was the insult? Didn't u read the thread that stated the name was out long before Cam used it?

Those who simply sit and get their dose of media medicine need to wake the heck up. Cam didn't do anything wrong except being a talented black QB. Something  99.9 percent of those in the media can't seem to stand him for.

talk about making a token example out of a black man.

#2952435 Hey Main Stream Media

Posted by footballisasport on 14 September 2014 - 04:45 PM

We have ZERO wide receivers, no Greg Hardy, no DeAngelo Williams. I could go on and on and on but the result will always be the same!

SUCK IT!!!!!!!!!!

It's funny u post this because they were speaking about the win on CBS and no one had an answer when asked about the prediction that the Panthers not doing well because of the replacements on the Offense. They didn't have an answer, but quickly turned to the defense and  gave them all the credit.

Today's sports media always seem to have a bad case of foot-in-mouth disease but refuse to admit it.

#2952001 Suh pissed at Donkey Kong comments

Posted by footballisasport on 14 September 2014 - 03:40 PM

It was stupid to say. It shows immaturity. Everyone here who blows it off as Cam just being "care free" or "joking around" is in denial. Suh is going to have a big game tomorrow - mark my words. I still don't understand why he thought it was a good idea to disrespect one of the best DL in the NFL (who happens to also be one of the dirtiest players in the league) by basically calling him an ugly, stinky gorilla.

It's only seen as immature because it came out of Cam's mouth. Anyone else said it and it wouldn't have been a big deal.

99.9 percent of you folks believe they need to dictate to this kid how to act while ignoring the behavior of other players who are doing worst. So obvious.

#2951914 We are for real

Posted by footballisasport on 14 September 2014 - 03:30 PM

Defense is still stout. Offense is still conservative, but with better hands at the WR position. and more creative play calling. The special teams is well-coached. Cam is markedly more mature and makes better decisions.  Luke and Thomas Davis have turned it up a notch. Dwan Edwards, who may be the forgotten man, is still solid.  Big Frank and Greg Hardy may not be available, but Addison is not a slouch.

I could go on, but you get the point.  We, and now the rest of the NFL, now know that we are not a team that can be taken lightly under any circumstances this year.

Cam has been playing pretty much the same for the past four seasons. What game have u been watching.

This media talking point isn is getting real old.  I don't know what ur definition of maturity is but some of you folks show much more immaturity than Cam.

#2951704 The Face of the Panthers Franchise

Posted by footballisasport on 14 September 2014 - 03:11 PM

Keuch is the Yin to Cam's Yang.

Where Cam rubs people wrong, Keuch rubs people right.  Cam has a much bigger appeal to youth because he's a cool cat, which Keuch fits an old school modest mantra.

Cam may be more important to winning games week to week, but having both gives us a seriously massive appeal as a team.

Let's be honest, the only folks Cam rub the wrong way are 99.9 percent white. Which says to me, some spend way to much time living in the past or watching way to much TV. Luke could be doing the same thing as Cam and many of u will still root for him and not once call him immature. So darn obvious.

#2950011 Official Panthers - Lions Gameday Thread

These guys are playing borderline dirty. Refs need to keep an eye on it.

It's Cam they r going after not Peyton, Luck, nor Brady. No such luck in them paying attention.

His ankle crumbled like it was paper mache.

I was rooting for him until he got his coach fired.

The Skins bought damaged goods with him. The media backed him to say Luck could look good and he was the Anti-Cam.

#2942338 Donkey Kong Suh

Posted by footballisasport on 10 September 2014 - 09:10 PM

he is going to get a lot of poo for this..

Here Comes the "cam is immature " train from the media

why is this kid always catching isn for being himself? Johnny Manziel can give the finger to his opponents and those in the media brushes it off as him just being Manziel. Luck can slam his helmet on the bench in view of the camera and not one person in the media mentions it the next day. Not of them are attacking their behavior or labeling their action "immature." But every isn this Cam does is seen as immature by those in the media who don't seem to find anything wrong with anything Luck and Johnny Manziel does. Why is that?

#2935734 Cam "Wanted to Play in the Worst Way".

Posted by footballisasport on 07 September 2014 - 11:02 PM

No Panthers fan hates on Cam. Just wishes he would mature a bit and act like an adult on the sidelines.

U mean maturity like slamming ur helmet down when u didn't get the outcome u want like Luck or sulk on the bench like Brady?

I guess u see those behaviours as maturity.
