Wait! was that a high ball just threw and his Receiver went up to get it? Amazing how often that happens in football.

I have seen a lot high by Cam that KB saves Cam's butt too.. but today I saw a lot of bad throws when there was not really much pressure than normally expected in the NFL.. have to give the recievers a chance to catch it without getting a rib shot!

Seriously, who cares. I watch 5 to 6 football games a week and see a lot of bad throws, even from the so called  "elite" QBs.  Some of u are simply ridiculous with your  desire to simply not let Cam be a typical QB.

U need to spend more time fixing ur team issues and then u can sit and worry about every high ball Cam throws. 4 seasons later and some of u a spending more time fixing everything on Cam believing that will fix your team's issues,

#3031122 On the Luke Kuechly Ejection

Posted by footballisasport on Yesterday, 05:54 PM

NFL network already said he wouldn't be suspended, but could be fined. I don't even think this should be a possibility. Anyone watching that replay can clearly see that Luke didnt even hit the official.

Wait, didn't something similar to that happened to Cam  last year and 75% of this board and the media  was all over Cam claiming he intentionally pushed the Ref? Which then turned into a few threads about his maturity and what not. I guess how things are perceived does depends on who is doing it.

Not starting  anything. I like Luke but just wanted to show how double standard folks are when it comes to these players.

I am not a cynic but every game I have watched this season where a more preferred team plays a lesser team, the Refs are very generous with the penalty calls going in the favor of the more media preferred team. It was blatantly obvious in the referring of both Jets game.

Once again, the discussion is not how much this team needs to seriously fit it's issues. It's Cam...SMH

There is a reason why there is no media pressure for this team to ever step up and build around their QB. Majority fans seem to take Cam for granted.

so...did the Bengals waste Dalton's performance, who had better stats, incidentally.

God u folks and your worshiping of stats.

Stats seen in it's real context usually tell a different story. Here is a nice quote for you to chew on: "The Panthers' defense just can't seem to get the kind of pressure on passers that they did last year, and the secondary was exposed because of it. Carolina's defensive backs struggled in zone and man coverage, and Andy Dalton had more than enough time to find his men down the field. "Yup, and that does help his stats.

First of all, a tie is NOT A LOSS Secondly, can we just quit with the riverboat $hit. He is dead. This organization and Mr Richardson hire the same type of conservative failures every time . Tired of it. Nothing will change as long as he owns the team. It will always be a conservative DC hired as our coach. Poor Cam is so held back by our coaching ineptness. Imagine him with a real offensively minded genius. Look what he does with this poo.

U mean like the 49er's coach? Either him or his brother, or the Seattle coach?

I think what makes Russell so fun to watch is, not so much that he is  so doesn't make a lot of mistakes but u can tell his coach has allowed him to grow through his learning curves and he is now at a place where he has the confidence to run the team and his coach allows him too.

When u watch Cam play, u can tell when the coaches are restraining him vs. when they are letting run the team. The many wins this team was getting last season, despite the Offense deficiencies was proof of that.  Cam was mostly carrying the offense.

When u have a QB who is so exceptionally talented and doesn't easily back down, u ride him.

Especially when u don't have that level of confidence.

I honestly believe a team  takes on the energy of their coaches, unless the coaches hand the reigns over to the QB and then u will have a team who is a reflection of their QB. This team's winning attitude is clearly a reflection of the coaches'. It seems as soon as their confidence builds and they want to go for it, the coaches wimps out and they have to make emotional adjustments. It must be quite disheartening to play on a team where the coach is motivated by their own emotional weaknesses.

I feel sorry for Cam and a lot of other players on this team, because this team doesn't reflect their; go for it, extremely competitive, take no prisoners attitude when it comes to the game.  Yet they receive the brunt of the fans anger when the team loses.

#3009198 Cam v. Luck - The "Build Around" Philosophy

Posted by footballisasport on 10 October 2014 - 05:16 PM

Yeah we haven't put as many pieces around him like we should which is not good. But Cam does have a better defense to fall back on than Luck.

Such a pathetic excuse.

Since when a QB depends on his Defense to help him score? Yes, the defense is important but how does that help Cam in the offensive realm?

Andrew Luck makes TY Hilton look better than he is. No disrespect to Hilton, he's solid, but Luck is unreal. The hate he gets on here is insane.

I saw a guy almost getting picked off 5 times. What is so unreal about that?

What is so unreal is how easily folks are to adjust their lenses once a person is seen in a certain light. Every time Luck almost got intercepted, he resorted to chunking the balls.

I will say, luck is the complete 180 of Cam on this board. Some of you remember every little mistake Cam makes and act like it was his entire game. With Luck, u only remember the occasional burst of good throws and ignore everything that doesn't matter.

Fitzpatrick actually had a better QB rating and completion percentage than Luck just saying.

That's because he was better.

No one watching last night's game can honestly say Luck playing matched his stats. That is why I don't always buy into those stats. I wonder who was responsible for his fumble.

As I said before, if Luck wasn't the media's darling, he would be seen as mediocre as ever. His saving grace were are his weapons. He had almost five ints last night. I am sure none of that was mentioned this morning during the Luck tongue bathing.

All my News mentioned were the stats. Not how he really played.

I can see tomorrow on NFLN. The Andrew Luck is the greatest since slice bread slurping will continue, despite a lot of sloppy playing on his part.

Luck is fortune to be three things...media chosen, white and not Cam.

Good night...It was fun.
